Member of the Anbu Black Ops, only survivor of Orochimaru's experiments which just happened to give him one of the strongest Ninja ever, abilities. We have seen that he can use the mokuton quite skillfully and on a fairly large scale (i.e. rebuilt a whole street in Konoha with one seal after the invasion of pain arc)

Out of all the people left to see have a fight in this war. I hope to God Yamato is one of them.
