I'm going to rep you for the pic, but not for the rest of this. Why? Because most of us... (Those of us with a brain.) Do not need to hear the argument for Tobi being Madara, or his brother Izuna. Why not? Because the list of people it could be at this point is very small. It's got to be one of them at this point, unless Kishi introduces someone new into the story. That would actually be entertaining, so I hope he does.

ya i feel the same as he is so calm and jus trying out his new techs so far like his wood clones and his forrest jutsu or whatever and using like a half susanoo jus to block attack th real madara wont be shown this he has to fight either sasuke or naruto and i think hell fight sasuke to show sasuke surpassing him

Hmm, I would hope so but I don't think Sasuke is going to leave Itachi. So either they stop the Edo Tensei and both Itachi and Madara disappear or Itachi and Sasuke would fight Madara. Or Itachi leaves to go take a nap or something. THEN they would fight.

Not so, my friend, he clearly says "My brother DIED". He did indeed die but he is not DEAD. Clever wording on Kishi's part IMO. Madara obtained the Rinnegan before he died and used the Outer Path to bring Izuna back. Simple as that. Of course he would want to bring his brother, his "equal", back plus in that same chapter he boasts about being able to bring people back to life. LOL Now he either gave Izuna new sharingan or gave him his old eyes would would technically give Izuna/Tobi the EMS. Now here is where there is some speculation.

If Tobi's S/T juts is a MS technique then it never appears to hurt him so it must be EMS and this Tobi/Izuna theory makes sense. If it is not, what is it? And vote in the poll that's why I made it!

Also this is a bit stretched but as for your tobizuna theory it could have gone down like this.

Madara was proud and he could have wanted himself to be the first and only possessor of the Eternal Mangekyo so he tells Tobizuna to be Madara or not tell anyone about his EMS, which he does both. Until Sasuke is about to get the EMS he says what the heck might as well Sasuke is his descendant, last of the clan besides himself, and Madara is dead so why not have him have the EMS.

Im one of those tobi is izuna kind of guys, but it appears to me that tobi is someone unknown by anyone. thats my gut feeling but eveidence in the manga seems to point izuna. who knows wonder when we will find out.

I actually would like tobi to be so6p older son personally.

Yep I think he's Izuna. He is unknown to everyone but Madara and Kishi, except for those who know "Tobi". Who knows when we'll find out? Its been too long... I think this theory makes perfect sense but I was just negatively repped for it . Must be an Obito fanboy:sy:. Anyway making everyone right would be awesome! That's kind of what I want. Anyway, nice post!

Honestly, tobi could be anyone right now. There are barely any facts and the best option seems to be obito. Im gonna be disappointed if it is Obito because it would be absolutely no surprise and wouldn't excite me due to all the threads about him being obito.

are you kidding me? Izuna theory is dead, 2 facts confirm this

1) first and foremost, Madara knows who Tobi is - HE KNOWS

2) then Madara stated that Izuna died

^^ Even Tobi's sharingan was not shown clearly when he uses his s/t tech, it was obscured by spiralling pattern.. So Tobi could be hiding his MS.
