His sand is infused with chakra.So it won't be affected by water (weight down and slow it.).Konan's paper is also infused with chakra,that's why the paper didn't soak water.

He can ****ING FLY!
He is killing a shit load of chakra!
He can manipulate it how he please!
He can use the sand eye(which isnt effected by genjutsu i would say) to see everything!
He has been proven to block every atk!

Perfect susanoo and regular susanoo do have their benifits aswell, but the chakra loss is why i put gaara sand in first

Only thing I can really add is that Water is as useless against sand,as sand is against water.
Though water only makes sand heavy,and Gaara has no issues lifting alot of wieght. I can't see water doing much more than turning his sand into cement.

While I have no place here, I want to throw a few things in.
1: As we haven't seen Gaara fight any water users other than 2nd Mizu we can't say much other than the fact that he managed to overcome them.
2: Water & sand = Cement,more or less.
3: Water & sand make denser and heavier sand,sand all the same though. Gaara has never been shown to not be able to carry heavy amounts of sand. Add to it some water and I don't think he'd mind much.
I'm just saying that neither of you have any real reasons to think that Water would affect Gaara's sand one way or another.

actually sand + water makes sand heavier and easier to be broken : cement isn't formed out of water and sand
if so .. all the beaches will be made out of cement but they are made out of sand and fragile sand

From your username, sig and avatar which reeks of somebody who rides sasuke's nuts so much, you arent fooling anybody when you say you hate sasuke, its actually the opposite and you hiding it. Persnally the idea of being in love or hating on a fictional character is rather sad, the idea of hiding your love and claiming its hate for a fictional character is pathetic. If you combine the fact that its you who have everything sasuke about you, and yet say its others that have a thing for sasuke, you belong in a mental home.
