I read a post where it was written madara > sage of six paths
I disagree.

I think sage of six paths had another version of rinnegan(not combined sharingan and rinnegan), through which he could control all the natural elements. He fought 10 tails (combined all tailed beasts) and became his jinchuriki. He created moon even when he was very old.

He was the founder of rinnegan and sharingan and knew all it's secret so madara and tobi doesn't stand stand a chance. Hell, he provided the whole world with different forms of chakra. He created life forms. He split the chakra of ten tails and i bet he could create more tailed beasts from the current tailed beast.

I don't see a competition

I guess in terms of abilities. But we don't know how much raw power SO6P had. For example, when Nagato used Chibaku Tensei, he said it was rubbish in comparison with So6P's one.

Basically, we don't know whether the SO6P can do everything 10 times better than Madara or not so there is a chance that Madara stands no chance against SO6P.
