Its not like they arent uchihas, its just that we hardly knew anything about the rinnegan. Even to this point, we dont know how people unlock it, other than stealing it.

When youre the first to accomplish something significant, people dont see them as human. I think thats why youre saying "uchihas dont see like uchihas". Sasuke and itachi seem like uchihas to me. Its madara that seems like some crazy genetically hacked badass.....although he is still an uchiha xd

Not really, i want uchihas to be able to go even further than the rinnegan because from what weve seen of the rinnegan, it is not enough to match the power of the sages body.

Rinnegan makes you a god in the narutoverse, its something that goes on crazy ass overpowered main villains (Pain, Madara, Tobi) Nagata was the one to get sealed between himself and Itachi becuase you cant have a person w/ rinnegan fighting on the side of good cuz then theres no hope for the bad guys and thats not cinematic.

So to say that theres a clan that can become gods due to their already haxed eyes is just....ew. Uchiha were known for their sharingan, it kinda sullies their name to suddenly put an addition like the rinnegan to it.

I actually disagree with this.... though i should clarify, I'm a generalist fan of the Manga, I don't care about any specific person really, though naruto tends to be a bit dearer to me then most other characters as the main protagonist.

Any way...

The Rinnegan being the evolution of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan fits with the whole "The clan with powerful eyes and an accursed legacy", regardless of how it's acquired.

I mean, each evolution of the Sharingan has required some horrible or difficult thing (the easiest is the two tomoe, which might just be going through puberty, but i know of few people who would describe it as 'easy'. :shrug.

Two-Tomoe Sharingan -> Three Tomoe Sharingan -> Mangekyo Sharingan -> Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan -> Rinnegan

The fact that there's an evolution for the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is even better.
That means after you murder a friend or brother, unlocking the MS, and rip the eyes out of someone else who is mostly likely a blood relative, you can evolve it even further by doing something else.

That something else probably involves something horrible. That something may be worse then theft of another person's eyes, but we can't say for sure.

It's probably not simply having a strong chakra or being skilled at using the EMS in a certain way. Those methods aren't f***ed enough.

I don't dislike it, but it could have been handled better. At least they could have shown EMS more before showing the switch.
