Sakura getting new powers

I honestly think Kurenai would be the ideal choice for a teacher for Sakura. Kurenai is a very proficient genjutsu user and Sakura is shown to have potential in the area. If Sakura were to go to Kurenai for genjutsu training, it would make Sakura's job as a medical ninja even easier in a way. She could probably use genjutsu on an opponent and make it so, that enemy thinks she is not even there at a battle or healing anyone for that matter. That way Sakura can do her job even more efficiently while not alerting the enemy or getting herself injured. This is if she learns genjutsu of course xd

Or on her patients to take them out the agony whilst she heals them... "Where am I, how did I get to paradise :S (1 minute later, back on the battlefield) Owwwww, now I remember" xD haha

I hope she learns genjutsu...besides I'm quite bored with her just healing others...I want to see her in a real fight (and I hope it would be worth watching xD) like the one with Sasori or so. I'd like her to be stronger and more useful in battles (in a different way she is now...)!

I, like many other people dont really care what happens to Sakura. She's easily one of the sh*tter characters in the manga/show.

Isn't she following the med ninja rules: Not get involved in the battle and heal your comrades until the end (don't remember the exact line)? Unless she learnt that Tsunade's technique at some point. Or maybe the one Chiyo used to revive Gaara, and use it to revive someone (maybe Naruto or Sasuke). But probably not. She is just a medical ninja, a good one at that, and don't think she needs anything else, apart from that regenerative techs of Tsunade. That would be cool.

I hope she does get new powers. Maybe develop her regeneration skills further, and perhaps do more than punch holes in the ground. Kishi really screwed her over. We see her do something every now and again compared to Naruto and Sasuke and she's just as important to Team 7 and the story as they are. I hope he does a lot with her. This is a war now. She has ample opportunity to show how beast her skills are. If he lets it pass her over, I'll be disappointed.
I'm really hoping for some Naruto and Sakura interaction during this war. Show how far they've come and how great they work together. But she is a medical ninja, so fighting isn't really her first duty on the battlefield.

I like her too. Don't be ashamed. She's amazing! Anyway, she cries when it's appropriate. It's not like she just walks around crying all the time.

She cried when Sasuke left. A good friend abandoned her. She cried to Naruto for him to bring Sasuke back. Reasonable. She couldn't stop him so she left it up to Naruto. She cried when Sai told her Naruto loves her. She realized all the pain she had been causing him. She cried when healing Karin because she realized Sasuke would go so far as to kill her, or Karin, an innocent person. She cried while standing behind Sasuke because she realized she'd never be able to kill him. He's an old friend. It's justified for her to cry at that realization. See where I'm going with this. After all she's been through, she hasn't cried enough to be honest.

don't exaggerate with "not crying enough"...no one cries as much as her (even though her crying is reasonable in those kinds of situations) and that makes her even weaker in front of anyone else...and that's why everyone think that she is useless forgeting the fact that she's kinda good in madical field...
