Anyways this is basically concerning the whole naruto and one piece debate going in a previous thread that i read. I just want to ask why must we compare manga to each other? One piece, naruto, and bleach were not created by the same person hence there are different art styles and story elements in each. To some of us One piece is not that appealing while to other people Naruto is not that appealing and the same applies to bleach. Naruto deals with ninjas, One Piece with pirates and Bleach with shinigamis (idk if i spelled that right). Different concepts, Different stories, different package. Out of the three i personally only really enjoy reading/watching naruto. I only read bleach and as for one piece, i stopped caring for it after a while. However, just because i don't like an anime/manga just as much as another, i'm not going to bash on the other anime and call them inferior because they are each different and therefore should not be compared. After having said this however, please do not think i am some naruto fan boy. In actuality i enjoy exploring different anime/manga. Some of the anime and manga i am currently watching/reading are Guilty Crown, Shakugan no shana 3, Fairy Tail, and Hitman Reborn. Each of these are different and in my opinion are examples of great anime/manga in their own respective category. If you go into a manga with your Bleach goggles on or your Naruto goggles on or even you One Piece goggles on, the only thing that will happen is that you will be comparing two completely different anime/manga to each other which will end on a bad note. A big reason people tend to dislike One Piece is the art style but like i said different author, different art styles. Just look at the artists here at NB, they each have different drawing styles and although some of us might dislike some of their artwork, others might completely love it. In the end all that matters is that you enjoy the anime/manga that you are viewing.

Sorry for the drawn out...whatever you want to call it...i just really dislike when people try to compare two completely different anime/manga together, and i am also barely awake so that also played a role xD anywho goodnight. Have a great Friday tomorrow (or today depending on where you live)

I understand the discussing and debating part but many people here in NB (from the time i have been here) basically bash on whatever doesn't appeal to them. Saying things such as "One Piece> Naruto because it gives background on a lot more characters" or "Naruto>One Piece because One Piece character designs suck". In my opinion naruto and one piece should not be compared because one piece is doing its own thing. I guess its like comparing two different organizations. One against animal abuse and one against poverty. In a sense they can be compared because they both fall under the category of "organization" but they are both doing a good thing so why should one argue which is "better"? (if i didn't really clear myself up or just didnt make much sense i apologize since im about to head out and didn't have enough time to formulate a better response xD)

I agree but when it comes to which of the big three is better, the debates and opinions turn into bashing.
