The whole point is that it holds Sasuke up. I don't for one minute believe Tsunade would defeat or overpower Sasuke but the point is the amount of people who have overlooked her in this battle, suggesting she will be finished in a flash, are foolish. Tsunade can be very effective at slowing Sasuke down with her battle smarts whilst Jiraiya prepares for the major assault.

So is this you saying tsunade can indeed die in battle?

Tsunade can destroy the terrain with her power (which will be very effective against a big fat Susanoo).

She can use summons, she can evade some of Sasuke's assualts; literally, she will not be finished the moment the fight starts and she can be a nuisence to Sasuke.

It's so stupid reading people saying stuff like "one susanoo arrow and Jiraiya would be dead", or "one amaterasu and Tsunade would burn to nothingness!". Seriously people, if that is your way of debating this, you might as well just alt+f4 and shutdown at once, because its plain stupidity. Don't you think both Jiraiya and Tsunade have had plenty of badass jutsu's thrown at them before? Especially Jiraiya with his vast experience? They can dodge alot of things, and as opposed to Sasuke who is still a baby ass, they have seen much and can think longer than to their own nose tip. If Sasuke plans 3 steps ahead, Jiraiya plans 10 steps ahead. That is the major difference. And Jiraiya has tons of techniques Sasuke doesen't know about. How can Sasuke stop Jiraiya from doing stuff if he doesen't know what he's about to do? On the other hand, both Jiraiya and Tsunade knows alot about the Uchiha history and their jutsu's, and would come well prepared for this battle. Not to mention Ma and Pa knows alot and would offer great support both in terms of jutsu's and advice. If you think anything else to be true, grow up and learn to use your minds.

Sasuke can fly using his hawk, destroying the terain is nothing and whats to stop him frm hitting her with amaterasu while hes watching her do that? She will be in constant pain while regenerating so he could just deal with Jiraya.

It would literaly take Sasuke 5 seconds to summon the hawk and Amaterasu Tsunade. Sage mode wont be ready.
