Itachi-Did he Kill/help Kill the Uchiha Clan?

Okay,I know this has been made before but I thought I'd throw in a recent poll. There are many reasons now to think Itachi didn't kill any of the Uchiha but I want to know other peoples theories and thoughts.

Vote & do please give theories.

Edit: I know he said it himself. I know he used a Genjutsu on Sasuke to 'show' him what he wanted Sasuke to see. I'm not saying I think he did or didn't do it. I just think we should think about it.

Edit Again: Note,I am saying nothing at all. I have no opinion either way. I am asking others for their thoughts.

You should try and give reasons for why you think that.

1: Itachi was never seen killing anyone from the Uchiha clan.
2: The only 'evidence' is that he was there when Sasuke came back.
3: He made Sasuke watch it all with a Genjutsu. No way of knowing if it was real or not.
4: He was a pacifist who didn't want to kill people he didn't know,nevermind his own family.

There are reasons to think he didn't do it. Although I'm not saying he didn't.

so your saying that he just walks into the uchiha colony and finds everyone dead, notices tobi, thinks of a story on the spot to tell sasuke? >_>
