Kakashi is Kage level, but definitely not actually a high Kage Level.
Why? Because he thought he was going to lose to a blinded MS Sasuke for a second.

A better example would be the fact that against Kage-Level talent, he hasn't shown really anything. I know he beat those Edos, but we didn't really see anything.

So, he's strong, but you know...

I agree, but putting him on the level of an Akatsuki means he is very strong. No he is not the strongest, and yes I made some points just to argue. But he is stronger than people think, and he is on the Hokage level. How do people define this? He was going to become Hokage, therefore he is on the level of a Hokage. Maybe he would set the standard for the weakest Hokage, but he would still be on Hokage level... see my point?

No Naruto would defeat Kakashi, and no Danzo would have beaten Kakashi. I totally agree with what you are saying, but he was next in line to be Hokage. No he is not crazy stronger, no he is not in the top ten. But people are underrating him, that is my sole point

sage mode didnt fight kakuzu, and he only lost to naruto due to underestimating him. He was strong enough to stay and take on all of them.

I think most ninja would have trouble with Kakazu its hard enough trying to kill 5 hearts let alone inside someone that knows how to use them effectively so it probably wasn't a bad effort for him and Shikamaru to kill 2 of them. If there is such a level then I would say Kakashi is a low level kage since he does have a few qualities that are essential to being a hokage. Where Deidara is concerned I think its a tough call if the battle doesn't drag on too long and weather or not he can work out his opponents weaknesses in a short amount of time maybe 6-4 in favour of Deidara.

Tsunade was not picked over jiraiya. He turned down the hokage postion and recommended tsunade U_U

Kakuzu is still better than Kakashi. Kakashi would have been killed by him if it wasn't for plot no jutsu, and Kakuzu wouldn't have died if it wasn't for plot no jutsu.

There's no doubt that Kakashi is strong but I don't think he's on the level of the elites. I don't think that he would lose to deidara easily as what others say but the thing is he was having a problem keeping up with Kakuzo. Deidara is more difficult as an opponent because he attacks in the air but kakashi have kamui so it would be an epic fight.

Yeh I actually hate the fact that people compare characters to other and say. yeh they would obviously win. its so stupid, because they could always go either way. an example of this was the first episode in part 1. Would you honestly expect Mizuki to lose to naruto?
