That's the truth. I've been watching Naruto series for 8 times at least from start to latest episode available. I am sure Itachi beated Kakashi in Naruto episode 82 and...
in episode 83 (Time 9:02) Kisame said "He's too powerful". Itachi replied "If we both attacked him, we would both be killed". Kisame said "Konoha Elite Uchiha clan and Mist Seven shinobi swordmen seem pity before his name. He's a legendary sannin after all." Even 2vs1 doesn't change the result. Please check that scene and reply. Btw, you guys can't say sharingan is a talent. It's a blood line limit appeared to inherit through uchiha clan. Kakashi learned over 1000jutsus for his genius talent and he awakened his Sharingan to highest level even if he isn't an uchiha. That says who the real smart one is.

He's been both underrated, and overrated. Depends on who you're talking too, what's going on in the story, and his popularity level at the time. (Or Infamy level.)

It makes me angry too. Itachi is definitely right under Hashirama if not better due to his intelligence. Who knows, he has never shown his true capabilities and he still owned when he didn't. So Nagato fanboys get a clue. :itachi:

Haha, Uchiha never beats Sanjuu, that's the history and the future. Don't try to change it. Uchiha gets power so easily that they don't even try. If Itachi is at Hashirama's level, why doesn't he go and beat that edo tensei madara?

you people are underrating kakashi itachi did defeat him....when he only had 3 tomoe sharingan...and in addition to that apparently kakshi's chakra reserves have increased.....itachi would beat him but with very high difficulty...you cant convince me that kakshi couldnt break tsukiyomi in his current form.....and Nagato > Itachi bishes

since when does most mean two? the only top shinobi he pwned with genjutsu are kakashi pt1 (who was greatly inferior to orochimaru) and orochimaru before part 1. naruto and sasuke could hardly be called top shinobi at that stage. and he faced tobi and jiraiya and didn't use genjutsu, instead opting not to fight.

i dnt believe itachi is underrated...he deserves the praise he gets...but to say he would steam roll kakashi,bee,minato or nagato is foolish.....all 4 of those people could win of course some would have a harder time than others but by the same token itachi could beat those same people on any given day minus Nagato

I think Jiraiya could beat both of them in a fight... By a really slim margin. And he definitely couldn't while having to protect Naruto, and Sasuke.

Don't be an Itachi fanboy. Itachi's cool, but a fight between him, and Jiraiya would be extremely close. Kisame would make it damn near impossible for J-man to win, but he's got years of experience on them. I'm sure his brain could work up something. He's also got summoning on his said. I'm sure he can create shadow-clones. And he's one of the three Sannin. It took all 6 Pein to take him out. Don't tell me that he couldn't be good in a fight against just Itachi, and Kisame.

coz both of them whit just normal sharingan are equal and consider that kakashi is not from uchiha the thing that Make itachi in a whole other leve is his MS
