Naruto/Shippuden™ Plot: Inconsistencies.

Anyone Who's Been Watching/Reading The Anime/Manga Should Be Aware Of The Fact That Kishimoto Has Left Quite A Few Things Unexplained That Would Otherwise Be Essential To Discerning The Depth Of Some Of The Other Characters And Reasons For Their Actions, Among Other Things. Now, If You Had The Chance, Which 3 Inconsistencies Would You Prefer To Be Addressed? This Spans Out From Part I To Part II.

NOTE:
This Thread Is Addresses Inconsistencies In The Series Only; Not Theories/Predictions On The Current Arc.

My Top 3 Would Be:

1. Orochimaru's Background:
As Much As I Dispised His Character, For One Of The Most Dynamic Villains In The Series, His Background (i.e. His Parents' Death) Was Never Really Expanded Upon, Which Would've Made It A Bit Less Difficult To Understand Why He Turned Out The Way He Did. On A Less Related Note, I'm Also Curious As To How His Parents Looked, Seeing They Had A Child That Looked Like A Snake.

2. Madara Uchiha's Battle With Hashirama Senju:
I Expect This'll Come Up Quite Often In Everyone Elses' Choices, But Hey, Who Isn't Curious As To How The Fight Turned Out? And I'm Not Talking About That Watered-Down Version Of Their Showdown That's Included In NUNS: Generations Either - I Want The Real Deal.

3. Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan:
Not As Flashy As The First To, But I've Always Been Curious As To How/When Kakashi Awakened It, Despite Knowing That There Are A Few Theories On How He Did - I'd Rather Have Seen A Battle/Training Session In Which He Awakened It.

1. Orochimaru's Background:
As Much As I Dispised His Character, For One Of The Most Dynamic Villains In The Series, His Background (i.e. His Parents' Death) Was Never Really Expanded Upon, Which Would've Made It A Bit Less Difficult To Understand Why He Turned Out The Way He Did. On A Less Related Note, I'm Also Curious As To How His Parents Looked, Seeing They Had A Child That Looked Like A Snake.

Its already been explained to why he turned out the way he did...he found the human life span to be too short and humans themselves fragile and there would not be enough time to learn all jutsu's which was his main goal it annoyed him and had him scared which led him to find away to stay immortal so that he could learn everything which would lead him to become the most powerful...i would say he is 1 of the best villians in anime...even now after his death he is still being mentioned and has a big part to the series

The other too are on every1 elses mind's too buh hopefully we should find out...but im not sure if kakashi's will be told, i dont see it fitting in anywere in the manga atm.

1)Itachi Gaiden/Chronicles
I am just curious how things lead to what we already know about Itachi, I mean I want to see the events leading up to the massacre of the Uchiha Clan. Better yet maybe even how Itachi went about killing his kinsmen. Not like I'm into gore and death but I mean the emotions Itachi went through or maybe the emotions he witnessed while killing his family members.

2) Hashirama vs. Madara
I agree with you on that one.

3) Kakashi's Mangekyo

4) Hiruzen's Youth?
How great of a shinobi was he in thee ol' days?

5) Tobirama Senju
Of all Hokages, his background is not really revealed.

Ah, Point Taken. Still, It Would've Been Interesting To See The Relationship He Had With His Parents, Though For The Most Part I'm Pretty Much Focused On Seeing What They Looked Like Appearance Wise ... And How On Earth They Managed To Create A Child Like That, If They Turned Out To Look Like Regular People. But Yeah, He's Definitely One Of The Best Villains In The Series.

In Terms Of How He Went About Destroying Your Clan, I Agree. Something Like That Must've Took Unrivaled Levels Of Willpower, Killing One's Own Brethren, Mother, And Father. Ah, And Hiruzen, Yes - Forgot That One.

From what we know, Orochimaru (like Sasori) lost his parents at a young age. With this we can really only interpret the rest. It led him to question the mortality of humans which sparked his obsession with the idea of immortality. He began with research, which escalated to human experimentation, and eventually the outright abandonment of his village.

There was a short part in the anime which did a nice job showing some of Orochimaru's human side and how he became evil. Forget which episode it is but it was a nice addition to the anime

Whoa I Didn't Notice I Started The Whole Thread In Caps - Sorry; That's Actually Proof Of How Bad A Habit It's Become. And You're Right, 'Inconsistencies' Was The Word I Was Dwelling On At The Time, When Rather, I'd Refer To Them As Missing Fragments In The Overall Plot.

Remember back in part 1, everyone was curious how kakashi got his sharingan, and we eventually got a good explanation.

What is the background of Minato.
He is shown as one of the strongest shinobi in Naruto world. He is the father of Naruto ( the main character ). Still we don't know much about him. And how he got FTG tech. Is he invented it or learned it from 2nd Hokage ??

What is the background of Minato.

Perhaps. But That Requires That Kishimoto Include Her Within The Story/Flashback, If He Ever Chooses To Expand On How Kakashi Awakened His MS (Assuming Her Death Indeed Allowed Him To Awaken It).

Not Much Is Known About What Happened To Her - The Most Kakashi Has Stated Is That He Failed To Protect Rin As He Promised Obito He Would. I Really Hope Kishimoto Addresses Things Though.

Rin. I want more info about Rin.


I think Kishi wanted Orochimaru to be the really bad for no reason guy, but I don't see it. His actions were bad, but he isn't evil for no reason. Loosing his parents and seeing Tsunade's lover+the kid die, aswell as Tsunade's pain from seeing it, made him fear death. He became bitter and selfish due to the fact he couldn't learn everything to save himself. That made him want to be Hokage and have access to many jutsu. Orochimaru is probably the character who is most afraid, just like Sasori is the one who is most intouch with the love for his parents.


I don't want to see any more of Maru. I love my own idea, although most is stated via manga, and don't want it ruined xd

I really really really wanted a backstory on Hidan and Kakuzu. I believe and wrote about a story where Kakuzu had a lover who died. That broke his heart. Now he is trying to "replace" his shattered one by stocking on hearts.
