First Hokage???

In the recent manga they have been telling you how strong first hokage was like how Kabuto said he was so strong that people believed his strength was a "fairytale". But in the anime when he was resurrected with 2nd hokage as well he did not seem so strong after reading the manga and now thinking about anime he should of kicked third hokage ass by himself but third hokage defeated both those hokages by himself. What they also say in the anime is that 3rd hokage was stronger then both the previous hokage.

So I am thinking is he or is he not cause he is freaking strong but he looked pretty weak when facing the third hokage.

But wasn't Orochimaru controlling him so he had to listen to whatever he said and if orochimaru wanted him to go all out he had to?

How come? didn't orochimaru master the technique properly. Oh and now I realise why Kabuto said he had surpass 2nd hokage and orochimaru he can bring anyone to there original strength or higher like he did with madara

The jutsu orochimaru used was an incomplete version or better yet version 1.0 whereas Kabuto who has perfected beyond what Orochimaru could do, can be considered as version 2.0.

I believe that in part one the battles were completely different - for example, everyone had much lower stamina (Kakashi in his skirmish with Zabuza). Now everyone is hyped over the moon.

So, lets make it in a few points:

1) Everyone was weaker (once again, Kakashi for example with his sharingan and hospitalization).
2) Every character is getting stronger and stronger, is even more hyped - Hashirama is a great example.
3) Orochimaru´s edo tensei isn´t on the same level as Kabuto´s. I think this just show how the manga progress, Kishi had to make something like this. Part 1 Hashi would be a joke..

So all in all, it´s because of characters getting constantly more hyped and stronger. Also, Kabuto improved the technique.

well the third was considered the strongest of all kage when he was the 3rd hokage.. orochimaru and kabuto stated that before they fought him.
