A Bit Confused on Tobi & Kisame' Partnership

This is something that I feel is very confusing, When Madara was shown to be the one controlling the Mizukage he revealed himself to Kisame by taking his mask off, but he also showed his face to Kisame a second time but the reaction given by Kisame was as if he had never saw him before. I am not sure if I remember seeing that part in the Manga but it was definitely in the anime.

Please share your thoughts & of course correct me if I am wrong

Second time they are both a part of Akatsuki but Kisame has no knowledge of what Tobi has been up to, he changed his mask so Kisame didn't automatically make the connection, and goes," Oh it's you. I remember you. Things will be much easier knowing you are pulling the strings (of Akatsuki)."

This is either exactly how it happened or I missed something and I am full of shit.

I actually believe you are pretty much on point, I just can't really agree with the part about him not recognizing the mask. I mean think about it the way Tobi spoke when he revealed himself to be the one controlling the mizukage telling him that he has a place for him I believe that place he spoke of was the Akatsuki..either that or I am full of shit lol but I could go with either way lol

Your right....Kisame just didn't know about the mask most likely...and Tobi had a alter ego before Tobi took off his mask and showed Kisame his face, so he didnt know it was him

Yeah you are right, as I'm remembering when it was thought that Tobi died Kisame did say he would miss his playful personality, so I am full of shit :'D lol

Yeah um he changed his mask, cut his hair, and had a radically different personality so it is possible Kisame didn't make the connection. Maybe he's dumb? I'm J/K but I also originally thought Tobi was directing Kisame to Akatsuki by revealing himself the first time. I just didn't think he realized that the "Masked Man" who revealed himself and was controlling the 2nd Mizukage, was also Tobi, the goof.

Kisame didnt know who the man behind the mask was atm.
he just knew tobi kid who wanted to be in akatsuki
after he put off his mask he was surprised that it was that guy that controlled the mizukage.

when he found out who was controlling the the mizukage thats the first time he seen Tobi(madara). the second time the reaction was more like he was shocked. cuz if you remmeber what he said after that. he was surprised that tobi was madara ( to his knowlegde) cuz after he seen him the second time he referred to him as madara. the reaction he gave was just out of shock cuz he had no idea. that this brat tobi was the man who was controlling the mizuakge
