Sorry, i sorta rushed the post and didn't quite get what i meant. I referred to the economic damage which is always secondary to lives. The kyuubi attack damaged the village if Minato was so focused on protected the buildings, he would'nt have gone to fight Tobi to stop the root cause of the problem and save the villagers, he would have teleported the Kyuubi there and then. The economic damage was felt years after the attack but Minato is still revered because he saved lives not because he saved buildings. In essence Tsunade did exactly what Minato did, being prepared to sacrifice her life to save the villagers, arguably against a stronger threat as a wild stupid, kyuubi is less dangerous, than an incredibly powerful shinobi with the rinnegan who knowingly wanted to destroy village and all the villagers and nearly did so with one strike. The will of fire is important as it drives them to do such things.

By the way, your logic hasn't always been on point either, but its all part of discussion so this is good, I'm enjoying it

Mate re-read what I wrote I wasn't comparing what they did I was talking about the Kakashi vs Pain battle only all I said was that if it wasn't for Kakashi then Choza and his squad would have been killed. I'm struugling to find the manga chapters to show you this but you would know this already

1. Greatest medical ninja alive, before you bring up hashirama.
2.One of the legendary sannin and although this doesn't prove as such why she should be, hokage's are chosen because of their lineage eg. Hiruzen was student of the First and Second.
3. As mentioned before, one of the legendary sannin, so survived against Hanzo, who wiped out a whole army on his own (correct me if I'm wrong), and being the medical ninja she is, she must have had a massive part to play in this. If Orochimaru and Jiraiya are kage level how can she not be.

I cannot however give you hard evidence because Kishi has'nt given it tous, but by reading the manga critically it is is obvious she had her fair share of achievements for to be considered for the role, only after Jiraiya

A bijuu that has taken control of its host has no intelligence and therefore hasn't got the intelligence in battle that makes a shinobi great and is therefore misguided power which isn't that effective and intelligence is more important as Minato proved and for Hanzo to get the rep he has he must be more than raw power like a bijuu is.

Well, the leaf is a lot weaker than its has been in years past so no one could compare to the past hokages but she is the most suitable in terms of ability, leadership, and dedication to the village. In fact, most other kages, from other villages could compare to them either.
