microsoft has launched window 8 consumer preview. I installed & checked, it's good and fast. It's interface same as iphone OS.
U can download it, burn it and install

First, its further. And even a 10 year old kid can understand what you are stating. But in my opinion is not an upgrade to older windows, its something new for newer technology. The immersive touch-optimized layer of Windows 8 that Microsoft demonstrated looks and feels completely different than the icons-on-a-desktop since Windows 3.0. It uses a different application programming model; basically, HTML5 (the game changer) and JavaScript.
