don't jump the gun completely their mister, just because orochimaru is a bad match up for the fourth hokage doesn't necessarily mean hes better by a wide margin.

there are people minato can beat that oro can't beat. i think minato would stand a much greater chance against itachi than oro did.

although itachi is still slightly better than minato at this point in time

He wont be beaten as easily as orochimaru
But without knowledge he will be beaten almost as easy

Ok, I'm going to try to make some valid points here, don't even know why I try in this thread, but oh well.
1. Minato is both overrated and underrated. Overrated by fans, underrated by people who hate him.
2. People say Oro > Minato because we only seen Rasengan, a seal, and FTG. While we seen a lot from Orochimaru. Minato is an incomplete character, so of course we won't know much about him.
3. The 3rd Hokage was old. We didn't even see him fight during his prime. So I'm not exactly sure which one of them were stronger.
4. We barely see the 1st & 2nd fight, and I'm not counting when they came back during their fight with the 3rd. Why I don't count it is because from the recent hype we heard I don't think we can exactly count their battle.
5. Minato defeated Tobi thing is a debate since some people say yes some say no. They say no because Minato died and Tobi lived. They say yes because Tobi fled. I'm in the middle when it comes to their battle.
6. I have no reason why Itachi came up xd

minato did deafet tobi. people are forgetting how minato actually died and it wasnt against tobi it was against the fox after sealing him inside naruto, while sealing himself and kushina charka.

I think minato could take on oro. I know oro could just regenerate but as itachi stated that takes huge amounts of chakra and to say minato's rasengan is weak just look at the pic where he managed to land a blow on tobi. It wouldn't be easy but with minato's speed advantage and like 3 or 4 blows from rasengan oro would be out of chakra and no more rebirth. As for manda he'll do what he did with tobi break the contract summon gamabunta to buy him a little time teleport manda out of there and come back to the fight. I also think he could break control of the edo's because they are still like summonings after all. And i know oro would not just stand there and let him do this but if he could pull it off with someone as dangerous as tobi i think he could also pull it off with oro. And also in the manga i think (idk if im right) anko said if the 4th was there they wouldn't have a problem dealing with oro. And like i said it won't be easy. But this is just my opinion.
