Theoretically, everyone who is deemed fit and elected by the admins can be one, but don't get your hopes up too high. Asking such a question alone is determined to make you ineligible.

Mods are forums leaders alongside admins and Global Moderators they normaly have Blue colored names

Now then WTF You are a new member which already makes you uneligble to be a mod.

Mods aren't picked randomly the admins hand pick them from senior and responsable members to handle the job. If mods were picked like 1,2,3 and you it would cause choas.

1. Mods are forum leaders and should be picked out carefully. If member 1 has a problem with member 2 and member 1 becomes a mod he may use that power against Member 2 which he origanly had a problem with causing injustice.

2. Mods need to know to operate the forums they can't just be elected and know nothing about NB ore how to help members it would be just plain stupid.

3. Mods are need to be mature people if they don't know how to react to certain things and say stupid random stuff like imature members do they would cause more problems than they could resolve.

I think these are plenty enough of reasons mods are handpicked and not just summoned. Hope this helps you!!

Also, to the maker of this thread, you should have searched the threads. This same question was already posted here in this section countless times before, one of them quite recently.

You need to be a member long enough to show your dedication, maturity, knowlegde of the rules, conduct, etc. Then, if you are deemed "good enough" two things can happen: you either apply (if applications are open) or you are picked/nominated by the current staff, mainly the admins.​
