Is japan ahead of us?

I know this a really stupid question thats probly been answered before but is japan ahead of us in the naruto anime/manga?

We still get it the same time it comes out with websites like this but as far as dubbed video and dubbed manga we are FAR behind... WAY far

probably the translation makes it longer to release here xd

nah we got the chapter almost at the same time with them,
but it goes on sale in WSJ magazine in Monday every week so that's mean we read the chapter 1st before them, since in japan they prefer reading it on jump magazine

As far as the manga's, I really don't know but I would guess we are at Naruto's birth (Around that area) which isn't to far but the English anime is around 154 episodes behind the Japanese, the English finished the Kakuzu/Hidan ark and a little bit into the next filler ark and the Japanese are on the Tobi and Konan fight

Well, the dvd boxes I have of Shippuden is till 15 and from what I understood it's going to be some flashbacks to team 7 again *Scratches head* At least if I translated the French summary correctly. Funny thing is that the subtitles are in Dutch, but the summary is in French -_-
