Ummm, no. I mean, I'm pretty sure Edo Tensei was a technique (probably in prototype-form) that only the Second Hokage knew at this time. I don't think Madara knew nothing about it. Of course, there is no basis for this hypothesis but imo I don't think Madara knew about Edo Tensei when the Second Hokage came up with it. And he probably thought it was the Outer Path that made him come back to life.

Madara knew Edo Tense revived him as soon as he saw his hands.

Theory about Tobi.

I believe Tobi is an attempt of the second hokage (Tobirama) to clone himself. After all we barely know anything about the 2nd except that he created edo tensei and that he was very skilled using space time jutsus one of Tobis greatest techs. But somewhere along this experiment the 2nd Hokage must have lost control and created a failed copy of himself which he called Tobi. Also we all know that Tobi has been around for a pretty long time, which supports the theory that he was created by the 2nd. Also it couldve been a failed attempt of ressurecting the 2nd hokage!!! Point is his name is TOBI and he uses primarily space time!

Why does Tobi cover his face?
Imagine if his face (disregard his hair) where to be just like the 2nd Hokage.
Theres a reason he doesnt want anyone to know who he is. As he says (I am no1). If he has no pride in who he is then maybe he is indeed a failed creation.

PS: We know Tobi cant be an uchiha because his sharingan is always activated!

you cant bring a teory and ignore hair color because you want to
havoing your sharingan on all day does not exlude you from the uchiha it just means you have it on all day plus when speaking to konan he refers to himself as a uchiha

Seems possible, but Madara dislike the Senju of anyway and kind. I don't think he would make a partnership with one especially after losing a battle to Hashirama.

It has nothing to do with the 2nd hokage why would Tobirama want to clone himself for stop using the name as a base for theories as its no different to the its Obito because if you take an o out then you can make Tobi out of it and the S/T jutsu is nothing like the 2nd's. Otherwise Minato would have noticed straight away there is just no way its the 2nd if you look at Tobi's eyes after his fight with Konan you can clearly see they have different shapes too them Tobi's eyes are more rounded where as Tobirama's eyes are more narrow and more asian looking.

somwhere along the way ppl are gonna have to accept a name is just a name everyone has one and at this point i dont think tobi is an uchia or a senju i think he is jus a very smart powerful man who got his hands on the eyes of the uchiha and the dna of then senju and only knows what he knows because he was close with madara at some point and because madara is old and has the ability to read the sages tablet he def knows alot

that being said yes he has space time jutsu and but if he was a clone of tobirama i doubt he would have had to ask kabuto how edo tensi works

Thats exactly what I mean its not a clone of Tobirama and I apologise if it sounds like I mean't the actual Tobirama if you look at the 1st line of my 1st post I said why would he clone himself for and from then on I was reffering to the clone. Maybe I should have used the word clone more so that you could see that I was referring to the clone and what I'm trying to say is that if it is a clone of the 2nd then it would still at the very least look like him would it not. But him and Tobi look nothing like each other by the way I did read the whole post where I went wrong is in my explanation and I apologise for that.
