and to ask you simply... minato or anyone would react if they know what to react to.... the sharingan can't read his movements bcoz they are faster for even the sharingan.. so how can a normal eye read his movements with such a short distance between them.. and teleport... (at least he has to do something to activate FTG (atleast a hand sign) )
what i believe is that the second pic was "made" by kishi to let everyone believe that he was OP that he could overpower 8-tail host killer bee by a kunai and A too by a kunai , bcoz that would look very bad if minato got punched in his face (being the main character's dad)...

If you see someone throw something in your pariferals or hear a noise to the side your gonna react and I think that's what monatomic did with raikage. When the raikage 'disappeared' to say to attack minato probably just reacted to him leaving and teleported away.
So basically my point is that minato just reacted to raikage moving and not necessarily could see him with his eyes. He just realized he moved an moved in turn. The end.:izuna:

nice point but minato didn't know from where will raikage attack until he did , he did knew raikage uses nintaijutsu ( being a smart ninja he knows about his opponents ) but facing them is a different story u need to be able to see to react , to react accordingly unless you are kiba or some sound ninja sorta thing.

I would say he probably just took hiS chances and teleported somewhere out of raikages linenof attack. The raikages style of attacking Is fairly linear so all he has to do is teleport away from the linenof attack. Obviously this is just my speculation however hahaha

Minato was an extraordinary Ninja .. He probably didn't see RK's punch but reacted to subtle changes in his environment, like wind pressure, a twitch... anything... a ninja must be perceptive... and he was VERY perceptive...

What if somehow Minato was possesing Sharingan and didn't showing it on purpose because it's a heritage of Uchiha clan.
His fight with Raikage has not shown completely, Kishi might be planning to revale that Minato possesing something , and to make Naruto knows about it maybe Bee will tell Naruto about Rest of the fight and why Raikage admired Minato so much ....!!
And there is no HYPE about his speed, teleportation is even faster than Light ( more than Lighting ).....

While that may be true, sasuke was not as fast as raikage to begin with, so he had to rely on his eyes to counter attack.
This is basically the opposite situation, where minato has no doujutsu, but has the reaction speed and reflexes to counter it.
Sasukes speed and reflexes aren't anywhere near minato's speed, so even if he could see the attack coming with his sharingan, he couldn't hope to avoid the attack. That is why he resorted to using his mangekyou sharingan.
Minato on the other hand, has a nearly uncomparable base speed and reflexes. He could keep up with other ninja who are as fast or possibly faster than him since he also has a failsafe means of escape: teleportation.
Now that we're talking about Minato's speed and how he was able to react to A's speed, the answer was so obvious. Minato can sense DANGER.
