2nd hokage is said weaker then 3rd so he can't be stronger then minato...

you think that hashirama who fought 3rd was the hashirama who fought with EMS madara + summoned 9tail???

If we put a time limit in the fight between those two, then Minato would lose.

But everyone has their pros and cons....for example, someone who doesn't have Lightning would be defeated by Diedara.

minato died in young years but he was still strong enough that the third though he can kill orochimaru! think 10 years later! i think monato was the strongest with the best potential!
and im not a minato fanboy but minato was a genius like itachi they both are on other level as the other!
