The rasen shuriken is to much for the sand defense. Gaara is fast with his sand, but i don't think he's fast enough himself. But then again... in the last fight against edo Madara he was flying pretty quick with that sand... I think it comes to weather or not Naruto can hit him. But starting at a distance of 5 meters, Naruto probably would hit him. With frog-fu naruto is pretty fast too.

Gaara will last well against Naruto and because Naruto can't manage many clones while in SM,Gaara will have an advantage.

If Gaara manages to turn the area into a desert then he will control the ground and also the air. Rasenshuriken is not too fast and Gaara is familiar with it,so will expect it.

If Gaara can keep Naruto away and manage to avoid the 6 Rasenshuriken somehow,then the fight goes to Gaara. Also,Gaara won't be drawn in to Close-quarters easily which is one of Naruto's strengths in SM.

I would say that Naruto is the likely winner of this bout. But Gaara would give him a hard time.

naruto is significantly faster in sm and plus with frog katas you don't need to touch the person rasenshuriken can be thrown and expanded in sm plus diversions like he did with pain would probably give naruto the win i like gaara but i don't know if he could stand up to sm

gaara can fly and is a long range fighter. if FRS fails, narutos gonna die eventually. then again he can jump high if he has his clones throw him. since its 5m, naruto is too fast, he punches right through gaara's sand armour and shoves a FRS up his ass lol.
