Yeah, but for what reason? Was it supposed to steal his Chakra? Paralyze him? Maybe this spore will be Tobi's triumph card on stopping Edo Tensei if he wanted to get rid of "Real Madara".

If Tobi can use the spores , to weaken Kabuto , then , most likely Madara will turn against Kabuto and team up with Tobi.

I think Tobi needs Madaras Sharingan to cast the Infinite Dojutsu.
