Spoilers: Ending Gaara VS MS Sasuke debate & Amaterasu

This is a SPOILER of extra footage from Gaara vs Sasuke,it is meant to be true to the Story but I don't think it's all that accurate to Manga. Still though it provides good evidence to support several ongoing debates.

This is what CC2,Kishi,Studio Pierot and the Naruto team have said about the new animated content:

This video is from the Anime,which is Cannon. Watch from 6:26.

This shows Gaara blocking Amaterasu. Simple as that. It also shows:

1: Gaara can keep up with and over-power Sasuke in close quarters.
2: The Sword of Kusanagi,which is said to cut anything,was stopped by Gaara's sand. Sasuke then imbued it with Lightning chakra,yet Gaara again stopped it.
3: Sasuke was being beaten,and only lived thanks to Susanoo,which also allowed him to escape.
4: Gaara blocked Amaterasu,easily. He also managed to control it with his sand.

I am 100% aware that regardless of how much evidence you throw at people,they will see what they wanna see.

These videos are extra's released to shed light on fights which didn't get enough screen time. If you don't believe their authenticity,take it up with Kishi. He chose to make them to add depth to fights & characters who,he felt,weren't getting enough time in the show.

Sasuke does have the Sword of Kusanagi. Damn Sasuke fans can be dim...

There are plenty who think that Gaara's sand cannot keep up with Amaterasu & that it was only Enton that Sasuke used. This shows,it was Amaterasu and that Gaara's sand is able to keep up with Sasuke's speed & Strength just fine.

It ends with Gaara letting Sasuke go after he Blocks Amaterasu and keeps up with and even out-does Sasuke in close-combat.

Since this is merely a footage meant to support a game I have to disappoint you; it's not canon and therefore not valid. Not even close to be. Games tend to mess up things even more than the anime sometimes does.

I think we already had that debate in another thread. Continuing it based on canon sources is fine by me.

This is not simple game footage. Nor is it there just to help launch the game.

It was added by Kishi and the studio to shed light on unseen battles. That was the original intention.That and they wanted the fans to have more time with their characters & build more depth.
So,basically what you're looking at,is what Kishi wanted us all to see but didn't have the time to go into when making the anime/manga originally.

This is,as far as Kishi has stated,to be taken as if it happened. The same applies to the fight between Itachi & Kisame which will also be on the Game Generations as added anime footage.
I personally think that it's a very nice touch. There will be a total of 60 minutes of extra footage including a prolonged version of the Naruto-Sasuke fight,post Danzo incident.

To add to my point. This only proves to further seal my point that Gaara's sand totally blocks and blocked Amaterasu. If you need more proof,then sorry but you'll need to ask Kishi himself.

Yea gaara sand caught sasuke when he wasnt runnin at full speed. I thought gaara sand was stronger an chidori wasnt gettin thru but it will , if sasuke wouldve fought gaara he wouldve won.

Susanoo saved sasuke yes, but the sand save gaara. If sasuke was runnin full speed with a chidori it would easily rip thru gaara sand an pierce him. Sasuke target was not gaara so he spared him.

Ambriel,while I appreciate your trying to debate,you are coming at me with pure speculations and your own theories for what might happen.
I'm off to bed now,but if you have proof,I suggest you use it.

Otherwise,this video,the anime,and the manga,all agree with my points.
