[Discussion] can we implant the rennigan?

tobi said that! he is the one who gave nagato the rennigan..can we implant rennigan just like sharingan..is it possible..? i dont believe him ..rennigan is different from sharingan...

when jiraiya meet with the orphans , we saw that nagato had rennigan at that time,,and my question is when tobi gave him the rennigan?? if tobi gave him the rennigan then why nagato did not tell jiraiya about the masked man or madara and akatsuki

The Akatsuki wasn't formed then, Yahiko formed Akatsuki, and he was only a kid when Jiraiya found out about Nagato's Rinnegan.

Nagato "awakened" the Rinnegan when his parents were killed. It is safe to assume that around that period before their death Tobi implanted him the Rinnegan, and of course did it without Nagato knowing therefore he couldn't let Jiraiya know about the masked man since he himself never saw him.
Of course Tobi could just be BSing and actually only got the Rinnegan after Nagato's death.

Actually Edo madara knew about Nagato and thought he was the one resurrecting him, so... if anyone implanted a Rinnegan in him, it was Edo Madara.
Not Tobi.

It might be implantable, or it's a result of being bound to Gedo Mazo. We don't know how to side step the need to be an Uchiha, but considering that Tobi confirmed that Nagato was an Uzamaki, it means it can be transferred, at least temporarily.

I would say you would have to be an Uchiha to unlock it but like the Sharingan it can be implanted. Which would make it like the sharingan and stay on all the time constantly straining you and draining your chakra. Which is most likely why Nagato looked so messed up and like he was on life support when we first laid eyes on him. I think the only reason he was able to sustain it for so long was because he had a great deal of chakra. :shrug: IDK just a though.
