That's obviously not what I meant but Owen Hart died during the WWF-Time, that's when stuff was still more serious. But nowadays, everything is scripted and those Actors in the ring suck (Not the way they act but the Wrestlers in general, they became ****ing ridiculous.) - That's exactly why I stopped watching 3/4 years ago.
Pro Wrestling has been scripted since long before the 70s.
Nowadays things are PG for the sake of keeping fans because MMA Competition.

However certain things in Pro Wrestling maybe fake, but there is 1 case that cannot be fake and a very good example.
Brock Lesnar. Forced to retired right? He got that issue from Pro Wrestling not MMA.

I agree that some matches look like a damn dance, I just think people need to understand what Kayfabe is.

Steroids are long gone from Pro Wrestling as well.

Yeah, I just sounded like I was trying to say that it wasn't scripted back then. I knew it was but I made myself look like an Idiot saying it like that. What I wanted to say is the that the whole Storyline became totally screwed up and shitty.

And yeah, I agree with everything you say :)

Yes its all staged and scripted ,

Some wrestlers hide tiny blades in there wrist / hand wrapping and when they get knocked down they go into a position where you cant really see them and they cut themselves usually around the forehead or on top of the eye brow since theirs no major blood vessels but it still bleeds a fair bit Its called Bladeing.
But yes the winner of the match is decided long before they actually do the match and before they actually wrestle in front of the crowd they usually do hours of practicing with each other deciding whats going to happen at what point there stunt men ...

I totally agree.
When Vince & bumboys decided to go PG, it ruined the whole business.

They may be winning the battle of fans with MMA, but they'll never match Boxing like they used to.

Uh, I think, business-wise, Vince must be very happy with its PG era. Stats prove it and if he wasn't satisfy, it wouldn't have ticked so long. Let's say, the PG era ruined the watch; not the business.

The reason, I get usually bored with Boxing is the Rounds, it kills most of the moment for me. Same in MMA and those continuous referee stoppage ect...

Frankly, for me, UFC's martial arts skills demonstration and fights are pretty great. It's the rules that piss me off.

As for matching with boxing is concerned, it's like you said - a nearly impossible situation. Boxing is recognized as Olympic Sport while MMA and Pro Wrestling will never get that tag.

Must be real if there is a warning telling you not to do it, kinda like they are professionals.

I meant the industry.
Pro Wrestling took a dip in fans globally when Vince turned his business PG.

Pro Wrestling & MMA will never make it to the Olypics though, it mixes too much shit together.

it's a real fake...if you watch it as a sport...

its not a sport.. its entertainment (well, for some, but that's not the discussions at the moment)

It's all staged, but still demanding for a human body...

Me and my friend we are here watching Elimination chamber and i said u know parts of this is fake she says u mad????????? this real

i belive certain parts are real such as injuries blood the body slams but my reason for beliving is

Injuries-to me seem as the wrestlers made a mistake e.g like if they jumped off the top rope but when they landed they twist their ankle

Blood-i belive tht b4 a match they give them selves a small cut nd then during the match they take a real hit to start bleeding

bodyslams- i think the mat is jus specially made to cushion their impact they feel something but i doesnt really hurt

to me the rest is fake i mean u can simply predict their moves but her only response to this is and i quote "and?" so we made a bet plz agree with me cuz if i lose im losing something very very very vey important tht i need

It's scripted entertainment

The matches may be pre-determined but what they are doing in the actual ring is real. In other words, they always know who's going to win. In rare cases they'll improvise if something goes wrong (an unexpected real injury for example). But the slams and throws they do in the ring are real. Those matches back in the good ole days with Cactus Jack...yeah, that was real blood from real thumbtacks and real barbed-wires wrapped around wooden bats.

It's scripted but don't take that as a synonym for "fake"
What goes on in the ring is very real

Some things are fake, some things are real. It's mostly up to you to decide what you believe.
