Minato sandaime - Kishimoto interview 2008 question

This is a question about the 2008 interview.


People say the sandaime (3rd hokage) is stronger than minato however in this interview there's a certain part were kishimoto says he takes the same place as the 3rd hokage.

MK: Hmmm, it's a tricky question. As far as dead shinobis goes, then yes, he's the strongest. I'd say that Sandaime shares the number one spot with him. As far as living shinobis goes... well, without going into many details I'd have to say no. There's a couple of shinobis whose stronger than him


So does this mean 3rd hokage is as strong as the 4th?
