Could 8th Gate Guy avoid Kirin?

I know it's a pretty pointless thread, and that Guy is going to die either way... Just wondering if you all think, from what we've seen in the manga.. If guy was to actually go into the dreaded 8th gate, the all powerful, death-bringing gate, would he be fast enough to avoid Kirin

I know there's no actual way to find out so I'm just asking for your opinions

you mean like get out of the area of effect for it? Its not quite as fast as the speed of light itself. I think he can. I dont think he needs 8 gates to do it though.

no no no, sorry it may have been misleading... i meant he would die either way because if kirin hits him he's dead, and if he uses 8th gate and avoids it he's dead as well, this is not a spoiler and probably will never happen

lol i was like WHAT??? but i SERIOUSLY doubt that Guy is going to die. in fact, i doubt any of the main cast (minor characters and teams included) will die. Kishi may be too attached

no... lightning isnt as fast as the speed as light...but its still ridiculously fast...... it will hit him before he can blink,move a muscle in his body, formulate a thought..

if he tried to dodge once sasuke releases kirin then no he couldnt, but i imagine if he knew that sasuke was starting to use kirin he could be out of range quite easily.

Honestly, I mean if the 8th gate is going to kill him anyway it should at least make him Overpowered for a few minutes..

Sorry for double post but I think that if you're very fast you should have a fast reaction speed right? because if you're speed is higher than you're reaction speed you couldn't control that power.
