[Discussion] Solid Evidence on the Base!!

Alright guys n gals I wanted to ask what you all think should be used as a basis for solid evidence on this Base.

Basically, I see people making assumptions based on no reason or logic & with no pages or references to back this up. I think if anyone wants to make a decent point, then be sure to back it up...BUT what counts as back-up?!

I would say only the official Manga pages should be considered as 'proof' as it were. But what do you all think?

What should be used as back-up & why?

Example: Rasengan can get through Gaara's sand defence cause it happened in the filler (filler). Yet Rasengan is weaker than Raikage's NinTaijutsu and Gaara managed to block that(manga). There is no solid proof that Rasengan>Gaara's Defence IMO.

I'd say the manga and the anime episodes that AREN'T fillers. Other than that, nothing else really counts.

Manga and databooks I suppose.

Though in a lot of cases threads are very speculative so there is no way to prove one way or the other - in which case one just has to use logic based on what is in the manga, even if it is speculation.

For instance, in a VS thread, we have the known movesets of two characters from the manga, but each character has a "one-hit KO" or other advantageous attacks. Who wins? I guess the character that gets the most support in the thread (xd) because the battle could go either way depending on condition/intent/terrain/etc

I have to say that about 95% I feel people should only use the Manga & if for any reason there has been some question as to the translation made or as to timeskip in a fight, then Anime should be used. Under no circumstances should Filler, ever be brought into it.

The Manga does get translated badly on NB and I can give on example of when it happens and also say that it has stayed unchanged.

In this image Sasuke says he had to guard himself with his Enton. This is 100% incorrect. Gaara was defending Sasuke's Enton & Amaterasu attacks as can be seen from the flames on his sand. I have the official books and what Sasuke actually states is:

" You block my Enton so effectively......I guess your ultimate defence is still going strong."

Then the Sand & Darui force an attack on him. This is an example where if the Manga on NB doesn't make sense, then another means must be used.

The anime is filled with nonsense from filler fights to techniques demonstrated by characters that kishi hasnt given to them

While I agree that the anime FILLER,shows too much which isn't true to the manga. Alot of the anime is actually just an extended cut of what the manga doesn't show.
Like Gaara vs Deidara. The anime fight was huge. The Manga fight was cut super short.
