Naruto Shippuden: Generations introduces an innovative system for the first time in the series, enabling players to integrate actual cards they've collected in the real world, for use in the game. The cards from the bundled starter and booster packs in the Card Edition will carry codes allowing players to unlock artwork for their in-game profile card, as well as letting you engage in a special mini-battle to unlock a bonus skill that'll give you the edge in network battles.

Here's what the Naruto Shippuden: Generations Card Edition will include:
A card Starter Set, a poster with an exclusive message from Masashi Kishimoto celebrating the 10 million units sales of the Naruto Video games from Namco Bandai Games and the game disc with a card booster pack.
The Starter set contains a complete ready-to-play deck of 50 cards, Instruction book, Play sheet and Poster. (The cards that come with the Starter Set do not carry the password that links to the videogame.)
The booster pack contains 8 cards inside, from the selection of 120 cards in total, and it will be offered in both Day 1 standard edition and Card Edition of the game. Cards in the Booster PKG are fully compatible with the video game. The Booster PKG and Starter Set will also be available as stand-alone in GAME and Gamestation stores and online at game.co.uk.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will be hitting stores on March 30th, 2012.

Darui is support, it is most likely kabutomaru.

I know that he is support but he really shouldn't be, he has shown quite a lot.
He has water wall,electrifying wave and his cleaver sword. They could just mix sword swings and water attacks into his combo. He can also charge his sword.
His jutsu is already made, Laser Circus. His Ultimate would be Black lightning.

He could be made easily but I guess it's too late since there is only a few days left till the game comes out in Japan.

A brand new commercial for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generatio has been released! It features the story of Gaara! As you can see below, it lasts 30 seconds and shows anime-style cutscenes from Studio Pierrot and in-game battle!

Naruto Generations Kabutomaru with Edo Tensei (Rumor):​

Word on the street is Kabutomaru will be playable in Naruto Generations. That’s Kabuto Yakushi after he injected himself with Orochimaru’s cells (also fan labeled as Kabuchimaru, among other things). We first heard it when CyberConnect2 hinted at the possibility, but confirmation is now literally just a scan away! The rumor comes from the reliable Japanese blog TaleTaleSource, which often correctly reveals the contents of up-coming issues of Shonen Jump.

The rumor is Kabutomaru, along with being playable, will be armed with the ability to use the Summoning: Impure World Resurrection technique (Edo Tensei). No information is given on what summons he will have at his disposal, but the prospects could be very exciting!

If we understood correctly, TaleTaleSource also mentions the up-coming scan will have the Five Kage shown with their ultimate jutsus. That doesn’t seem like anything new, but we’ll have to wait and see what the potential scan actually says.

As always Saiyan Island considers information like this a rumor so please wait until the scan has been released to call it official! If history is any indication though, it’s likely we will get our confirmation this weekend, if not today! Especially since the One Piece scan is already out!

That confirms it. Glad to know his finisher uses the Akatsuki (looks like). Looks amazing, what I can see anyways.

72 characters is a bit of a let down. That could've had atleast 80 if they didn't make great ninja support only.


Still, inspite of all the awesomeness, I hope to God they give Jugo his Curse Mark Stage 2.

Well I guess that wraps up to roster, although it would have been nice to have more it is still a very impressive line up. The only thing is that the new characters and ougi's seem to be built way more epic than the older one's (which may make them less likely to be played) but that may just be cos their new. All in all though im happy, this game could have 200 characters but still have broken mechanics, which would still be a let down. I am happy since I would much rather a reduced roster with better game mechanics anyday.

On a side note does anyone know if Australia is included in the Europe classification. I know it isn't in europe since I live there but they share the PAL region. I want to know if Aust. will be getting the card edition as well??

jack supportr only isn't that bad if you use your suppport right they are still useable, attack supports get to add into combos, def supports defend you while your charge chakra, and balnce supports take the ultimate attack for you ( if the gagage is filled up) so even the supports are still awsome to have in the game, in the end i'm just gald teh sound four got in at all unlike zabuza and haku in storm 1.

anyway all thats left is a possable extra support or two i guess still game is awsome. glad i pre ordered it.

Remember the character screen browse through of the Naruto Generations demo from the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show? It indicates Might Guy does not have an ultimate jutsu or costume select. As shown in the image above with Sasuke, pressing the R1 button lets players switch the costume/ultimate jutsu.
YouTube user hokahachi has uploaded an interesting video that shows Guy may have two ultimate jutsus. Morning Peacock, which was in Storm 2 and the brand new Afternoon Tiger! If you watch the video below, the first jutsu shown is Afternoon Tiger. Then a clip the 10 second mark (which is from this video) shows what looks to be the starting sequence of Morning Peacock. Followed by that is a clip of Morning Peacock in Storm 2 as a comparison.
Note we said “Guy may have two ultimate jutsus”. It’s very possible Generations’ Afternoon Tiger could have the the same starting sequence as Storm 2′s Morning Peacock. At the same time, it’s possible one of those jutsus was left out in the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show demo. After all, Afternoon Tiger was shown at the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show for the first time during a stage event.
Which is the actual scenario? We will have to wait and see next week, on or after February 23rd, when Naruto Generations releases in Japan!
