Who would win in your opinion? I know a lot of people might say SM naruto but I'm actually thinking that a seventh gate guy could give him a run for his money

That is true, but guy can repress his chakra seeing as he is 98% taijutsu user then in the seventh gate he can use afternoon tiger which doesn't use chakra

Umm I think it's guy, I mean the 7th gate, you're talking about 1 gate away from dying.... No I'm definite it's Guy, let's not forget the experience factor. Also the 7th gate will increase guy's Speed ( that was already very high ) dramatically , also his Taijutsu ( which is also HIGH ) , so yeah Guy takes this. OK so Naruto can use two RS , has his Taijutsu also increased, he can sense chakra, but with out good reflexes he's not gonna be able to dodge guy's attacks. For me it's KM naruto > Guy with 7th gate.

Gai is capable of using Ninjutsu and Genjutsu as well
But by not using it he aims to influenced Lee, that he doesnt need it
