Nobody's top10 is right or wrong, apart from kishi therefore in his top10 (op) minato isnt there. To some extent i can understand because other characters have shown us more.
Anyway you lucky because in one of these thread you said itachi to eat a ****. I was gonna save it as my new sig but at that time was on my phone in lectures and its annoying doing that on my phone. Came back home and went through that thread, it seems you deleted it. I was like damn

I don't hate minato, what I hate is fanboy brats like you, that get all emotional over an anime character... You said it yourself, it's a fictional char, you won't meet him, or iteract with him in any way, ever... So, why do you keep insulting others who just think he is not a top-10?

Am I fan of Minato? Yes, he's probably one of my top 5 favorite characters with Jiraiya being at the front of that list, but I'm far far far from a fanboy. You can even ask Blaze and me and him have went back and forth about Minato on several issues, but I don't act like a senseless idiot with no logic like some others.

Well, I'm a Minato fan (though not to the point of fanboy), and I consider him into my top 10, even top 5. Why? Not because he can wreck everyone with sheer power, but because he has enormous amount of skill and strategic mind to even overcome stronger opponents than him. Most people just look at the sheer power characters have instead of looking how skilled they are to use their abilities effectively against their opponents and even use their abilities against them. Thus, I do not rank my characters by the power they hold, but how skilled their are.
Minato and Itachi have shown incredible skill, thus those being my favorites (Also, their personalities and character are great).
Would Minato or Itachi lose against a fight against someone with greater power than them? Of course, but they also have enough intellect to figure out the opponent weaknesses and exploits them, Minato excelling on this than any other character.
