allot of people and allot of family suffer but they don't want to start a war and kill thousands in trying to achieve their goal

To my knowledge only the uchiha have suffered discrimination since the beginning of konoha. Needless to say i do not for a second believe that what they wanted to do was wrong, nor do i believe it was right. It is however understandable

yes shisui and obito were good to, but the clan as a whole planned a hostile takeover of the village, in my eyes that makes them bad. the whole curse of hatred thing was always talked about how in the past most, not all, but most of them were hateful people. I know this isn't going to help but the reason Madara turned "evil" was because right after he took Izuna's eyes(Itachi says Madara stole them and Tobi says Izuna gave them to Madara) so he could continue fighting with him being the leader and all and Izuna died from going into battle with no eyes. Right after that the Senju wanted to make peace and the Uchiha clan all wanted peace as well. Madara didn't like this because he felt that it made his brothers sacrifice meaningless. So he hated the Senju for that reason and vowed to crush them. Madara/Izuna = Sasuke/Itachi if you really think about it.

He was the LEADER. This is why Izuna gave his eyes to him. In war the leader leads the army. Its obvious since he was blind and Izuna wasn't makes it clear that he was on the battle field ALOT more then Izuna.

no ive seen a lot of minato fanboys, and they never seam anywhere near as bad as the sasuke fanboys. at least most minato fanboys have logical arguments not just invented logic of why hes great.

P.S. I am a Minato fan, he was strong and honorable and sacrificed himself for the sake of his village, same as itachi, much more deserving of having fans than sasuke who claims to work to restore his people but in reality all his goals are selfish and cruel.

Sharingan gave them the power above others. Without sharingan they are just an average shinobi. Not saying that they can't be a powerful shinobi but they can't be as powerful as they are today and obviously can't be in the league of the big boys.....

A simple way to look at it is to take away their sharingan abilities and visualize how they can go against those powerful shinobi's that doesn't have dojutsu. Can we still say that they can do well against them?

Well, considering that the entire Uchiha clan was plotting to take over Konoha and kill who knows how many innocents on the way, we just haven't been harsh enough. I take Itachi and Shishui were the exceptions and ones of the only Uchiha's ever (obito along with them) to be decent people.

Now, seriously, what most people fail to see is that while the Senju (and Konoha along) reward and admire integrity and decency, the Uchiha clan admires and rewards strenght and power. That's the basic distinction between the 2 brothers as well. For those of us (readers) who believe in the first line, we will always see the second one as flawed and "evil" or at the very least wrong. For those would believe power is the mean for anything (AKA the older brother), they will always defend this line of thinking, for it is what they believe in.

This is a matter of beliefs, not the manga itself, but who we really are, therefore, we will stand up for it, each in its own way.

Now, back on the OP, I do believe the Uchiha would be just a normal clan without the Sharigan, maybe not as weak as some of the clans around, but surely not one of the most powerful clans ever. Yet, we must keep in mind that even without it, some ninjas such as ITachi would still be a genius, and therefore a very powerful ninja, and would find other ways to enhance himself.

As for Uchihas without Sharingan- duh.. even with sharingan the whole clan was wiped by two of them. So it's not like having sharingan is enough all the time. Every clan has some exceptional shinobies and a bunch of average ones. Shinobies talented asItachi and Sasuke could have come up with other techs.

Because they don't find other Uchihas at par with these characters. They had a right to say enough - sure. what about their duties and responsibilities as the shinobies and Police force of Konoha?

The rights exist alongside duties. They neglected that rest of Konoha expected them to fight along with them when Kyuubi attacked. They didn't try to solve the mystery of sharingan weilder... or to show some leadership and proactive step to remove the doubts and investigate the other options- or at least try to talk and explain their situation...the ANBU in security of Kushina and Biwako's deaths should have arisen suspecions as they didn't died by Kyuubi's attack.


Always asking for rights, powers, positions , respect but really not offering in return is'nt very impressive. Itachi Shisui and Obito get respect because they didn't acted seflishly.

Itachi was sent to spy and Shisui was asked to spy on him by the clan. Itachi was 4 at the time of war. Maybe 5-6 when Minato dies. He enteredNBU at 11. In all this period all Uchihas did was planning for the coup and to Itachi a kid, as a tool themselves. That was the only reason to send him to ANBU.

The fact that Shisui and Itachi were allowed in ANBU shows that Uchihas were not as alienated and deliberately kept out of other postions as Tobi claimed and some users like to believe. In fact it indicates that they had other rights/options in the government positions along with permanant monopoly over force.

If they had tried to even think about the possiblites that one of them could have really had some hand in the kyuubi attack- they probably would have guessed who it could be(having more info about their tech and members of the clan) - and be on alert and prepared themselves as Tobi did play a major part in Unchiha killing. Itachi had a mission from danzou, Tobi didn't.



But they negated even the possibility stubbernly, didn't do anything to defuse the tension and decided to go for coup.

Although characters like Kakashi uses the sharingan better than most of the Uchiha clan, the guy was a genius before he got the sharingan.
