I am a big Gaara fan so might be Biased.

I think Gaara would win this fight easily. I also think if you gave Guy the full gates range including 8, it would still be a close call.

I'd need to see the 8th Gate to know.

BTW: I am aware that the 8th Gate makes the user as strong as a Kage and even stronger still, but Gaara has been named by the 2nd Mizukage as the Golden Duckling of the Kage.

That was 3 years ago and since then Gaara became Kazekage and a tonne stronger, while Guy remains a Jounin.

Gaara rapes Guy up to 6th gate. Then after that Guy starts to have a chance. If Guy doesn't kill Gaara while in Gates mode, then Guy is F'ed in the A.

It depends on certain factors. But yes, in theory Kakashi can beat Gaara. But in theory Guy could also beat Gaara. Chances are though that Gaara would beat both.

Gaara wins this. We've already seen that taijutsu does pretty much nothing to Gaara.

You've also heavily restricted Guy by only allowing him to use 5 gates.
