A and the 3rd are very similar fighters. I don't see A doing better against the hachibi than the 3rd. Now add a skilled shinobi like B into the mix and they would wipe the floor with him.

A speed is the main factor in this battle. B is nowhere near as fast as Raikage even in version 2. A also is more physically strong but the gap is closes if Killer Bee is in Version 2.
They are both about the same level intelligence,but Killer Bee has the Hachibi to help him if he makes mistakes.

I think A wins with difficulty.
