probably Minato. although the 10 kunai limit is pretty lame when Minato uses over a score.

anyway, dust release is a chakra intensive technique, which Minato can escape with ftg. and if he throws multiple kunai up at oonoki, he won't know where to dodge as Minato can teleport to any one of them, so his being fast in the air is still limited. a well thrown knife travels at 80feet/second, so 30 feet is nothing, because oonoki not only has to dodge, which is easy, but he has to get out of range.

unless oonoki can dust release all of Minato's kunai, it's very hard for him to win. and dust release isn't exactly spammable, so unless Minato is dumb enough to put all his kunai in the same spot, which he's not, Oonoki has to dust release several times just to get rid of the kunai.

movie 4 watch it

Movies are not any more accurate than anime which is not at all accurate in the first place.
Manga is the only correct reference to use.
And he didn't show it in manga.

Minato.
Onoki has great supporting skills but i don't picture him as a great 1on1 fighter.

dust release will only protect minato from the front.

dust release surounds the oponent

*Sigh* you don't get it. His s/t barrier absorbs anything coming into it and the dust release is something that's fired at you meaning his s/t barrier would absorb it and then he can easily redirect right back at Oonoki.

Why not ?
His Taijutsu skills are better than Minato.
The punches he can deliver with rock fist are greater than the blows SM Jiraiya can deliver.

Onoki wins in Ninjutsu since he has wind, fire and earth. Weight changing jutsus and Dust Release.

Neither of them have really showed any genjutsu skills so they draw on that.

So how is Onoki a support type fighter.

Kabuto called Onoki's punch weak.

And I don't see the problem with his other skills.
Onoki showed great support by increasing A's and Gaara's sand's speed.

Kabuto said that if he makes his body lighter, his punches also get lighter which shows a flashback to that. And Onoki was not using Rock Fist then.

One punch from Onoki's rock fist destroyed the 2nd Mizukages massive clam summoning.

He may be a good support but that doesn't mean that he is bad at 1 vs 1.

wtf it has to get close enough to trap him and if he puts his barrier in bettwen then its good bye onoki.

But the Barrier works if the Dust Release does into it. If Onoki goes around to where Minato is standing (behind the barrier) then he could do it then.

You'll find you're mistaken there. Dust Release is NOT fired at you. Fired at someone means like the Fire Jutsu Uchihas use or other jutsu where the attack emerges from the user and moves towards the target. But in Dust release Onoki merely creates a small copy in his hand and the actual jutsu just appears around the target to get them inside the cube or cone or whatever shape it takes. And I might add there are ways of countering kunai excepting for dodging them. One forgets Onoki is also very skilled at Earth Jutsu and he has the Kajukan no jutsu to turn objects into rock and shatter them and being the Tsuchikage Im sure he has a wide arsenal of earth jutsu which are great for defense.

onoki first makes a half dozen rock clones, then summons a golem. when minato attacks the golem he springs the clone trap, surrounding him. then onoki since he used doton to move the kunais around via earth release, touches minato and instantly makes him weigh several tons then jinton. if onoki makes himself faster, he can still do damage by making other things heavier.

Neither can Minato get him if Onoki is in the air.
All Onoki has to do is apply a Dust Release big enough to cover all the area which Minato and his 10 kunai's are in.
Seriously just because Minato is faster than the opponent doesn't mean he wins instantly.

All Minato has to do is teleported Onoki's jutsu away using Teleportation Barrier, honestly, just because Onoki has dust release doesn't mean he instantly wins.

Minato wins. He can really high and reach Onoki, Naruto reached Muu by jumping. Tsunade jumped over Manda and Bunta while carrying Bunta's knife. Minato will jump and reach Onoki, if Onoki tries to flee higher, Minato can summon a medium sized toad and using it as a foothold to jump higher and throw kunai, once one of those kunai get near Onoki is over. Minato will scatter 5 of his kunai, if Onoki Dust Releases him, he will ST barrier it to one of the scattered kunai, the Dust Release will be averted. Onoki only has like 5 or 6 Dust Release blasts in him a day. This will tire him out.
