Ne means root, but in english sub they translate it to spear, so shadow spear, and that jutsu its quite fast

hmm well hidan is faster than temari. hes got a 3.5 and shes got 3, but i mean she can blow him away. I know I keep saying that but its true. She also has a 4 in intelligence and I personally think the key to beating hidan is by outwitting him which isnt that hard. I'm not saying she has to do the exact same thing as shika though she could. But even though Hidan is said to have other jutsu, he never uses them and we havent seen him use any aside from his ritual and I think that from what we've seen of him, 1v1 Temari would be him with difficulty. Even if he did get her blood, she could just blow him out of his little circle.

Though if Hidan did beat her I dont think itd be easy from him either.

both shikamaru and asuma are smarter than hidan but none of them can't do anything without intel on him, and once hidan get temari blood is all over, since hidan simply need to attack himself to kill temariU_U

no darling he has to get the blood, then he has to set up the ritual. Asuma and shika didnt have anything to really prevent that since they were too sacred, but temari can interrupt him. even if he has the blood, if hes not in the circle he cant do anything.

Without information on him, winning against Hidan 1v1 seems nigh impossible. The fact that he only needs a drop of blood, combined with various scythe tricks (such as extending it with the metal cord, ect.) means that even if an enemy stays at a distance, they're not necessarily safe. These feats in addition to his immortality, seems like they would be too much for even someone as as skilled as Temari.

Also, remember that Hidan has ridiculous agility. Not only did he manage to avoid Shikamaru's shadows while simultaneously battling Asuma, a duo that has been said to have incredible teamwork. He was also able to dodge a projectile while he was in mid air. It seems likely he would be able to dodge Temari's wind.

So in the end, I think Hidan takes this battle of one-trick ponies with only moderate difficulty. Not to say Temari's weak, but it seems he would prove too much.

this isn't a "plot no jutsu" fight. so i doubt temari's jus gonna stand there while he makes the ritual...ever heard of her summoning jutsu that leveled some of a forest??? yeeeeaaahhh hidan's toast without kakuzu, as been proven

Im sorry but honestly i dont think it matters if she has intel on him or not. How many of you didnt know how Hidan's jutsu worked until Shikamaru figured it out? I'm sure that as soon as we all say him begin to draw that circle that he needed it for a reason. She'd interupt. Getting close to her wouldnt be easy for him either. His scythe doesnt have a huge reach even after he extends it. I dont think he can get near her as long as she has her fan.

i don't understand how Hidan could rape someone that would have sliced his body into smaller pieces...without kakuzu there to help, he has no one to put him back together. temari's summoning or wind scythe jutsu could easily do the trick and render him helpless...so temari wins with no difficulty. Hidan is severly OVERRATED

saying asuma>temari so hidan>temari is flaw no jutsu! two completely different fighting styles. Temari is very strategic and a mid-long range fighter! as asuma wis mid-short range, therefore, it was quite easy for him to be beaten

but that was plot no jutsu imo. i mean that may seem like a lame excuse but really its true. temari isnt very patient either like shika. shika chills and lets things unfold so he can formulate a plan. Temari doesnt have so cool of a head. She attacks.
