As I walk upon the heinous field which Xanthe-senpai has cast upon the land, I walk over to him, in shock and awe of what's happened. There's a massive crevace which seems to be on fire, and the ground is pitch black. Considering this is Earth training, it would seem like an appropriate choice, but something tells me he's gone overboard.

This is a little overboard Xanthe, can't you just tone it down a bit? -_-​

But anyway, while you're explaining everything which should be done, I take a quick note on a scroll which has magically appeared in my hands with a pen and then explain everything you want.

"Earth, in relation to the real world is basically everything around us. The ground, all the minerals which surround us and everything which doesn't seem to be man-made is the earth. It's found in almost everything I would assume, from sand, trees and everything. In relation to the Narutoverse though, it shares some very similar properties, except it's more should I say "earthish" in terms of being composed of dirt and mud, instead of minerals.

In the order of the basic five elements, Earth is naturally strong against Water, as it would stop it in it's tracks; Earth is intangible and Water struggles to parse through it. I know technically it's neutral, but some Wind jutsu would struggle against it as well. Jutsu such as the Hurricane Fist would struggle to parse through Earth. But for a surefire strength, maybe Boil Release, since it's vapors wouldn't be able to parse through the Earth. One weakness is Lightning attacks, as it's able to rip through the earth easily.

I would consider Earth to be more of a defensive element, rather than offensive. From what I've seen, Earth is much more effective in a solid form, which is best used for jutsu such as a shield technique or a wall. While it can be used for offensive purposes, it's much better suited for defense.

Earth seems to have relationships with everything except Lightning considering it's the weakness. When combined with Water, it can create Wood Element, a jutsu used by Hashirama Senju and Yamato. With Fire can create Lava, used by Mei Terumi and Kurotsuchi. With Wind and Fire together it creates Dust, the kekkei tota used by Onoki.

I'm sure I don't need to do this part, but I'll do it anyway. There are a few pure Earth users in the Narutoverse. One being Hiruzen Sarutobi, known for being a powerful user in all jutsu. Another is Onoki, the Tsuchikage who can use powerful Earth jutsu easily. One more would be Yamato, who is capable of using the element because it's a requirement in the Wood Element."​

As I've finished I can feel a shuff of earth arising underneath me, which holds me at a height that I wouldn't be able to drop down so easily. This jutsu allows you to perform a Rat hand seal and as you form it, the ground around the opponent at mid/long range will begin to form two sections that are opposite each other. They move together to form the sections of rock by forming multiple long pillars that curve and mass together to form a large section of rock. This is done on both sides of the opponent in order to cause the sections of rock to smash the target in between them.
