Well some examples would be like while Sasuke is fighting Itachi, when he uses his fire techniques to cause a storm to come allowing him to use Karin.

Also, when fighting someone with wood release, if they use Wood to defend themselves with a wood wall, you can use Fire to set it on fire so they must let their guard up and either move from their wood or use Jutsu to put it out leaving them open for another attack.

Also when fighting alongside someone, a good combination to use would to combine one of your own fire techniques with your partners wind techniques to grow the fire and make it more powerful.

Another technique is one that Jiraiya used where he let Gamabunta spit out a stream of oil from his moth and lit it on fire with a typical fire technique which greatly increased the the effectiveness of the jutsu.

Another one was the burning ash technique where the user releases a cloud of chakra altered gunpowder, and it creates a smokescreen which prevents the enemy from seeing you, and whenever the user wants, he uses a fire technique to cause the gunpowder to explode.

*I once again sit down and take the leaf and grab it on both ends*

I assume I should burn this...

*I take a deep breath and mold my chakra in my stomach into Fire chakra and then when I am done molding my chakra I channel my chakra through my body to my finger tips, lighting the leaf on fire*

Is that what you wanted me to do?

this time its controling the fire so that you can make shapes with the fire

blow a small fire fire in the center of the leaf and then control that fire with your chakra so that it wont burn out the leaf

note this will take some time to master

*I pick up another leaf and hold it once again, and take a deep breath and once again mold my chakra, this time seeing as I do not need as much power, I slowly channel my chakra to my throat and make a small opening with my lips and blow much lighter creating a small hole in the middle of the leaf.*

*sees teh fire quickly burning through the leaf* O_O control the fire!!!

Since I am lighting a fire how am I supposed to not let it burn the rest of the leaf, won't fire always spread?

*I continually try each time trying to be more precise using less and less chakra to blow through the middle*

*As I grab the leaf I take a breath in and mold my chakra and bring it up into my throat, as i spit out a small amount of fire I then focus my chakra on containing the chakra, not allowing it to move quickly and trying to not let it burn the entire leaf*

Am I doing it right?
