1st hokage vs 3rd hokage ???

i this 1st will win this
but my friend neplionkiller says 3rd is stronger then 1st & 1st cant tailed beast .......
what do u think ?

Well it depends on the state of Hashirama and Hiruzen.

And we have not seen Hashirama in combat for real, so i have to go with Hiruzen

Hype: Hashirama since he defeated madara and Kyuubi (with help from his wife) and he united people and created Konoha and he was the first Hokage and one of the strongest shinobi of his time.

What we have seen: obviously Hiruzen, since he fought Orochimaru as old and could actually quite easy hold his ground. He fought of the kyuubi forced outside the village.

so it all depends on hype or what we have seen

He was able to tackle the 9-Tails because he has Wood Release. With that he can control Taile Beasts.

After putting 9-tails aside, all he had to do was fight Madara.

There is no real way of knowing this... but since you are putting the first and Hiruzen on the same battleground then I have to assume the 1st would have to still be alive, which implies a very young 3rd, far from reaching his prime. So I'd say that the 1st wins to a child Hiruzen for sure.

Umm....no....you dont use that logic here....we are comparing them by putting them in a fight where they are of the same age, and are a same health.

Hiruzen was 70 year old then....he was in same state as Oonoki..
Kishimoto didnt rate him a perfect 5 in everything (Databook 1,2,3,4)for nothing...

Hashirama - He was playing in Madaras league. Hiruzens reputation being the "god of Shinobi" is a statement from the old Manga. The old Manga had several false information, which were corrected in the newer Manga (timescript).

Hiruzen has strong techniques but nothing special. His techniques aren't those who couldn't be learned by each Shinobi. The wood release on the other hand is a special ability, additional to Hashiramas other techniques. So I go with Hashirama.

orochimaru himself said "if this was 10 years ago you could've won easily"
enma said "what is this. sarutobi you look miserable"

normally hiruzen was a lot more powerful. but we don't know how far. and iruka said that he was the strongest hokage that existed.

however hashirama was able to defeat ems madara so he's pretty badass himself.
since we haven't seen much out of hiruzen I'll go with him too
