Itachi vs Diedera ( Read First )

After the first incounter between the two, diedera was pretty much humiliated and nearly killed, however diedera than trained his eye to see through genjutsu.

They both have full knowledge off each other's power's, bit itachi doesn't know that he has the whole "Blow up and kill my self" thing or what ever you call xd

I go for itach by the way but with high diff. Most of you well say yea but diedera lost to sasuke so it's really not a that hard for itachi. However sasuke had the cursed seal which helped him fly and to get on the diedera bird. And diedera is a mid to far range fighter. State your resons for picking the winner not just by saying a nameU_U

I still can't belive that kisih stated that by diedera beeing an edo is the strongest ninja can you belive that. I am trying to find the link but i can't, once i do i well show you guy's.

Yea Itachi would win with his Yasaka Magatama. His Susanoo (w/ his toys) would protect him

EDIT - Also, didn't Diedara fail at resisting genjutsu? I'm pretty sure he thought he did, but then he was still fooled by Sasuke. Anyway ... nice thread!

He said he thought so, he didn't back it up or put much thought into it. I think he just meant because of his explosion tech, but that can be negated.

Itachi:

Sasuke's Genjutsu still caught Deidara so Itachi's would destroy him.
Also, Susanoo should provide protection against the blast.
Amaterasu should have no trouble finding Deidara either.

Dude he stated that he is the strongest in edo form and yea it's because of the blast, however how can you stop someone that just blows up again and again and again. I don't think anyone would be able to handle him.
Didn't diedera see through sasuke genjustu i can't remember. They have full kmowledege of each other.

Okay that's one way to look at it. But diedera is a crafty one and has knowledege of itachi's ability and there is a good amount of distance between them

Deidara FTW or "Draw." Why?

Sasuke, in a battle with Deidara, had an advantage because of his Raiton Nature able to defuse his Clay Bombs. Itachi doesn't posse such affinity and that can prove an disadvantage because of Deidara's fighting style. Deidara has many "Trump Cards" which could dominant the battle such as his CO - Exploding Clay, C2 Dragon, C3 - Exploding Clay, or C4 Garuda.

Itachi techniques has no range and his more of a close-range combatant. Even if your were to include Susanoo and it's attack, which is mid-range, could do nothing to Deidara, who is a long-range combatant. Susanoo, including the mirror, acting as a defense want keep up for long do to chakra decrease and cell strain. Deidara still has his "Trump Card" C4 Garuda, which is detectable by the Sharingan, but can still be inhaled and destroy the cells of the opponent. It could be understandably clear that C4 technique could break through, Incomplete or Complete, Susanoo defense, with or without, Itachi's mirror. Proof:

1. Sasuke's Battle with Mizukage (Skilled Fog Technique) and Danzou (Wind Technique).
2. Madara Battle with both Gaara and the Tsuchikage (Light Sand Technique).

Deidara also was seen able to develop a method to stop or neutralize Genjutsu, or Tsukuyomi which prevent Itachi from casting his technique. Even if he were to using his finger. Deidara would be out of range do to his clay. Also, Itachi want be spamming the technique Amaterasu, because of it's strain (loss of blood and decrease in chakra) on the User.

If the battle prove difficult for Deidara, he could still end it in a "Draw" with his C0 - Exploding Clay.
