[Predictions] Jiraiya

All during that reanimation period I was expecting Naruto to have to face a zombie version of Jiraiya... And have pupil succeed his sensei. Sasuke succeeded Orochimaru, I see Sakura becoming on par with/succeeding Lady Tsunade at the end of this war, being able to heal Naruto from his injuries after lady Tsunade deemed is injuries were too severe and untreatable. Naruto will be the only one to have not had the chance to best his sensei.

Now after Jiraiya fell to pain, it was said that they couldn't recover his body right? Because they couldn't find it? So perhaps Pain took it somewhere, or one of the other Akatsuki, or Orochimaru/Kabuto? This could be the final emotional battle naruto has before the emotional battle he will face with Sasuke. But I feel the whole re-animation jutsu part of this saga is almost over. You guys think I will get this fight or I'm dreaming that this fight could happen?

Could this be the person Sasuke is looking back at, at the end of 573? Jiraiyahas been sent as a companion with Sasuke?

He did say there may be enough of jiraiya's DNA on pains weapons if he could get them, to which Tobi told him not to push his luck (I think haha). So I reckon he is still a possibility.

I believe Sasuke is looking back at the viewer or "us", but I could be wrong.

Would love for Jiraiya to come back is some form, I just believe it would be TOO easy for Naruto to "heart melt" Jiraiya into releasing edo tensei, so he would have to fight other people first, or go straight to helping naruto much like Itachi did, because he's that awesome.

Also if anyone were to have Jiraiya's body, yes Pein or Konan are my first two guesses, but I'm sure Konan didn't have it, and I think if Pein had it Konan would of kept on to it after Pein's death and it would of been there with Pein's body. It's just Pein and the "real akatsuki" (not tobi, not zetsu, just nagato and them), weren't particularly evil they were idealist, so Pein still believe he would bring peace to the ninja world like Jiraiya taught him, but in a different ideology than Jiraiya or naruto would have done it. So even if Pein killed Jiraiya I suspect he never lost respect for Jiraiya.

Last thing she needs to do is heal something that Tsunade feels like she can't, a fatal injury in a fight with Tobi or Sasuke?

wrong he surpassed j man at mastering sage mode but if they both were to fight in there sage mode naruto would of lost all the info is there u just have to pick it up lol but some ppl dont see it. j man could of easily beat pain if he knew about all 6 and knew none where real. said in a way and naruto but up a good fight but lost (in sage mode) and had to go 9 tails. so no naruto didnt surpass him till km mode maybe

that was NOT a fight lol orochimaru was on his death bed. are you really trying to convince me sakura is on par with tsunade

he surpassed him when he learned sage mode. Never said he was more powerful nor did i say he could beat jman one on one my dude. Thats funny haha i just got done watching that fight too

It hard to argue the surpass deal, there are external influences here that discount the sannin from truly passin on there lineage to team 7.

A) Sasuke and Orochimaru broke up.
and Sasuke did not turn into a snake person, Kabuto did, that's why I call him Kabutomaru now.

B)Sakura is a muggle born, not saying that's bad or anything, but she does kinda suck as a ninja, but she's more a hermione, ninja book smart, can do lots of basic jutsu, but does she save the world and beat voldermort/tobi, no naruto/harry potter the dumber kid who doesn't do as well but just is the chosen one does. Tsunade is senju and uzamaki, that's like BAM, plus whoever her one parent was that wasn't a senju/uzumaki (c'mon kishi really one of tsunade's parent's wasn't a total badass?) She already has more chakra than most ninjas and chakra control like a boss. She got her reputation curing the poison granny chiyo created. Sakura did get a little crap under chiyo, but sakura needs time, and maybe a slug summon, at least sasuke can summon.

C)Naruto is the 9tails jinc, now proabably reincarnation of so6p, Jiraiya is just an awesome man all around like the Dos Ecquis guy, so while Jiraiya is powerful and wasn't always the best (like naruto), he got more powerful becoming the toad sage, passed that on to naruto, but naruto still has all his other power to rely on, he'll never just be like 'oh i'm a toad sage master", because if sage mode is out, he can go chakra mode, he can go kyuubi mode now. He always has kurama to fall back on, Jiraiya did not, he was just man.

Besides medical Jutsu, Tsunade has never showed any real ninjutsu really with, she summons a slug and stores chakra in her forehead for super healing.any other jutsu? She only ever fights with taijutsu, so as far as we know her ninjutsu as only slightly better than Rock Lee's.

Jiraiya had one of the best deaths I've ever seen in an anime/manga series. It was badass, inspiring and sad all at the same time. While I'd love to see him back even if only for a little while, it would kind of ruin that.

You guys (and Kabuto) seem to have forgotten quite a few easy ways Jiraiya's DNA could be obtained:

-The thousands of hair senbon Jiraiya fired at Pain.
-All that blood e coughed up after his throat was crushed or the blood from his arm being severed
-The severed arm

Perhaps Kabuto was simply doing as Tobi said and lying. I mean, why tell someone that you can't summon someone really powerful? Doesn't do you any favors, though he doesn't exactly need Jiraiya with Edo Madara around.

Even though I like to see him again, I don't want to see Edo Jiraiya. We have already had our share of Edo ninjas. To bring Jiraiya back as a Edo would look like... same old trick. To kill off Jiraiya was good plot any way. He died a heroic death. Let him RIP.

On a side note, I used to think Jiraiya was not really dead.

Yeah I guess that's true. For some reason I thought she used some stuff during the jiraiya and her vs orochimaru fight. Guess not though. Still, at least she has a summon, and her forehead thing. sakura has nothing.
