I love NaruHina but Naruto (IMO) only sees her as a close friend and teammate. I mean, just because you love someone, it doesn't always mean they're going to feel the same way.

Naruto has only ever thought of Hinata as a friend, even post-confession, whereas he has openly stated he's in love with Sakura. I hope no one denies that. :|
Am I the only one who thinks Hinata was saying she wasn't going after Naruto anymore? Friends maybe?
I don't know, I'll be kind of pissed if all of a sudden "Oh Hinata! I love you after 573+ chapters on being oblivious of your love, and not even caring much about your confession and being in love with someone else but now I love you!"

Why can't he change his opinion? I mean not to forget Sakura, but she was his obsession so he could be healed by Hinata. xd
And I am not like starting new battle NaruHina or NaruSaku. But the case is not Naruto will tell that he love Hinata, but Hinata become active. And not standing aside smiling while Sakura hugs Naruto.

I don't think Hinata's death would be the saddest. Jiraiya and Itachi already hold that. Also Kushina and Minato's final words to Naruto in her flashback.
