You have to work hard, be a member for a while and be fair. Also you need to wait for applications to open. My advice is stay a normal member becoming a mod is next to impossible for this site. Many people come here and say that they want to become a mod but reality is only 1 in 1000-5000 actually do...

Most mods on here are picked by Versuvio personally.
Most likely he saw how much they helped the forum and thouhgt they would be great as a mod.
