Can u link me...no homo lol

Only Hashirama can use that technique, and by extension, those with his DNA. The technique is said to only suppress Tailed Beast chakra:

3rd Databook article on the :

A technique that uses the power of the Wood Release Technique to forcibly suppress the chakra of a tailed beast. To invoke this jutsu, it is necessary for the tailed beast or jinchūriki to be in the possession of the Crystal Gem (結晶石, Kesshōseki) that responds to the First Hokage's chakra. Touching the chakra of the tailed beast with their hand, the user then suppresses the chakra inside an area lined with ten pillars.

The 3rd DB is also another reason why I believe Hashirama's ability to control Biju doesn't come only from Wood Release. To use the technique, the target has to be wearing his crystal necklace. The necklace is one of a kind and thus can only be used on one target. Yamato claimed he needed the necklace to just suppress Naruto transformations. Also, Hashirama was said to have been in possession of several Tailed Beasts at one point, which means this technique wasn't used, and it's the only known WS to have this effect

I'm well aware of why Tsunade assinged Yamato to team 7. -____-
However, I've already pointed out my....point. Whether you read it or not is not up to me.

@narutownsyouall Wood Release does require hand seals, while FTG does not. And why would you need to know the battlefield intimately if you possess FTG? You can teleport to avoid anything so pretty much whatever surprises the location may hold it's not like you can't avoid it. I mean, it's quite hax.

if i make a crazy wooden fortress around you and you see one way out whatever is at the end of it will probably kill you if you throw kunai randomly and expect the place you throw it not to be changed and dangerous you will probably die. its not an attack all you can do is teleport and i could build a forrest around you and set wood traps your underplaying the ability to attack with it and set up attacks while you make your opponent scared all while not even needing to be in range of the opponent.

black uchiha im honestly to tired to find the chapter sorry

The fact that they can teleport means you can't trap them. Heck, even trying to warp them into another dimension proved ineffective. And even if they were inside this wooden fortress, why would you expect them not to have kunai elsewhere? It's not like the user would wait and not use any of them, as the point of the technique is to have them in many locations so that the enemy will have an extremely difficult if not impossible time trying to figure out where you've gone/can go (the flashback A had demonstrates this if you can't picture it). I mean, if even the previously fastest ninja alive couldn't do it, who else is going to be swift enough to do so?

like i said changing the battlefield is the best part i coul just push all the kunai to a certain place or i could form cages around everyone and you would be stuck being able to move fast is just not as good as controlling an entire land

Yea that's not saying he could control them just suppress their chakra

It's cool but it looks like he/WR can only suppress the chakra not control them

Hashirama did have the power to perfectly control Tailed Beasts (according to Danzo and Tobi), but since the technique I linked can only work on one target at a time (because the required necklace is entirely unique), so that doesn't make it viable for Hashirama to have controlled the multiple Tailed Beasts that he had at one point, and may not have been completely related to WS.

And what, the user doesn't have anymore kunai? In any case, he is still able to physically apply it to anything. And Wood Release isn't Earth Release, so your exaggerating its ability to manipulate the environment considerably, and not taking into account the risk to the user's chakra that using that much wood would pose.
