Well the video Hebi posted shows its definitely Sasuke. If it was a Kabuto version it would show next to Kabuto.looks like kabutomaru from far away
Thanks for the clearer image. It looks like they had a presentation in their basement.

A new photo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations has been released and it unveils the character selection screen! As you can see there are 85 characters on the screen. The way they’ve included them make it looks like they are playable characters, but based on the information we have received thus far, characters from rows 9 and 10 are support only.

It’s unconfirmed if this is the final character roster just yet. Reason is, excluding the support, we see 70 characters. Namco Bandai Games America revealed there will be 75 playable characters.
If you ask us, we’re on the fence on whether this is the final roster or not. Why? Because we see 4 versions of Sasuke, when 5 have been confirmed by Namco Bandai (Susano, Akatsuki, Chidori Spear, Kirin, and Part 1). We’re also pretty sure there is a version of Naruto that can use the Nine-Tailed Rasengan and Rasenshuriken, similar to Storm 2. With that there are 72 playable characters. We wonder if there are 3 more hidden characters like that. At the same time, we see rows 5 and 6 both have an empty space and wonder if each could be filled in with another character in the final build of the game. Whichever the case, we have a strong feeling serious Tobi will be in the game alongside of goofy Tobi. Of course, we’re just hypothesizing here.
What we do know for sure is on screen in the images are the characters on the screen. They are listed in order from left to right, by row. Are you happy with this roster?

Namco Bandai and CyberConnect2 are celebrating 10 million copies of Naruto games sold and the 10 Naruto anime anniversary through a Naruto world tour! The first stop on the trip was the 2012 Taipei International Book Exhibition in Taiwan. On hand was CyberConnect2 development team lead Yuki Nishikawa who represented the company well in the orange and black Naruto jump suit.
At the event, a tournament of contestants battled for ninja supremacy with the winners receiving prizes, including a 160GB PS3 and Naruto manga volumes! We’re not sure, but it’s possible some people may have even gotten the final retail copy of Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations weeks before it’s release! Although, we could be wrong since Nishikawa-san is holding the game and not the fan. Anyways, check out 34 pictures from the event, including screenshots from the game itself!

Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2 are holding Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations as part of a Naruto World Tour to celebrate 10 million copies of Naruto games sold. Earlier today we reported on the event taking place just recently at the Taipei International Book Exhibition in Taipei, Taiwan.
Well, there seems to certainly be more where that came from as Taiwanese fans won’t be the only ones who will get to enjoy the Naruto World Tour. The next stop for Namco Bandai Games and CyberConnect2 is Paris, France! This weekend at the Paris Manga & Sci-Fi Show fans will be able to enjoy Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations! On hand will be CyberConnect2 president Hiroshi Matsuyami who will host host two separate events – one on Saturday, February 4 from 15:30 to 16:30 (3:30 – 4:30 PM) and the other on February 5 from 14:30 to 15:30 (2:30 – 3:30 PM).
We’re not sure what iteration of the game will be on display, but if the the event in Taipei is any indication, fans may get quite a bit of content to enjoy!

The above is a poster from the Porte de Versailles in Paris train station, which is practically next to the event. If you are a lucky fan going to enjoy the event , please send Saiyan Island your pictures!
I hope you're wrong about Serious Tobi...it's terrible that they even made Goofy Tobi a playable character seeing as we never saw him do anything other than bury explosives, but to ignore Serious Tobi would be awful...particularly if we can't start out playing as transformed characters. Goofy Tobi's moveset is a joke and regardless of how powerful Serious Tobi is the transformation doesn't last long enough to ignore the terrible goofy Tobi.my opion if cc2 releases teh final chacter roster now that leaves no surprise when the game comes out so i'm sure tehre will be one ot two more playable chacters in the game hopefully not lars. if the case is lars or no more chars that just leaves disappointment
also i expected two sauke part 1s and where is early shippuden sand siblings?
i really doubt serious tobi will be playble. i mean what would his aweaning be?
i mean goofy tobi is in it because you can use sharingan him as an aweaking but if he's already serious ( sharingan mode) then what would his aweakning be?
my theory: it will be like this when the game comes out maybe with an extra naruto or sauske.
We’ve seen the character selection screen, now lets take a look at the Naruto Generations stage selection screen! Based on the image from the Taipei International Book Exhibition it looks like the stages screen will be divided up with a thumbnail list of stages on the left and a larger preview of the stage on the right. For some reason it reminds us a lot of the Super Smash Brothers Brawl selection screen, although that game does have the the stage list and preview on the opposite sides.
Anyways, by the looks of it, and we might not be seeing it correctly, there are 36 stages in the game. That might not be the final count when the game is released, but it does seem likely. 36 is a very generous number of stages to fight on and we’re very satisfied with the selection. Coincidentally (or maybe not coincidentally ), the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Stages list we’ve put together here on Saiyan Island (based on video and image proof) also has 36 stages, so if you are wondering what arenas are confirmed for battle, you can head on over there!
As for the order of stages on the selection screen, it’s tough to say for sure. We’ll have to wait for a better quality photo to be released.
