Why should the being at NB be a problem?
Sure this is the interrnet, but the internet is merely a meeting place where things are less personal, in a sense. You get to meet people you woulnd't have the chance to meet otherwise, since it costs a lot to make a trip to the other side of the earth etc.
Now, maybe it is admiration, but it being the internet isn't really that much of a hindrance or reason, much of what is stopping people from being friends, lovers over the net is prejudice anyways.
