STOP ASKING WHY THE 1 TAIL BEAST ISNT FIGHTING!! HIS HOST IS STILL ALIVE!!!!! OBVIOUSLY HE STILL IS IN THE STATUE......come on guys, critical thinking, do it.

The 1 tailed beast does not have a host. Gaara is not the one tailed beasts' host any more. So the host of the one tailed beast is technically dead. They die when they get sucked in to the statue.
Gaara was brought back to life *after* the bijuu was transferred to the statue. There is no 1 tailed host unless Tobi made one.

idk if anyone have read about the spoilers... but one interesting thing is that there was a mentioning about Jiraiya coming back... (wohhooo! yeah!) I'm not sure how but it kinda make sense, i mean if he really were dead Kabuto should've made him an Edo. I know u guys might rebut that J-man's body was lost to the sea. But as I read some of the comments on other sites, someone raised a really good point--Jiraiya's blood specimen was there. So, it's possible that Kabuto couldn't resurrect him simply because he's actually alive.
As much as i like him, i'd really love see him again.. really miss the pervy old man...

First of all Awesome chapter.And i don't think Tobi is Obito,i do think its obito eye even if some people say his right side is crushed when the manga clearly says his right side is ALMOST crushed which means that the eye could of survived,if it was completely crushed his skull would be crushed and his brain and then he would not be chatting up Kakashi and Rin he would be dead.I don't think its Shisui cause he gave Itachi one eye and Danzou took the other but Itachi said he made it look like he destroyed his eyes and erased his existence.It certainly isn't Madara since he was brought back from being dead under Edo Tensei.So the only ones i could think of is Izuna, cause i don't think Madara would let his brother suffer for so long, probably faked Izuna's death so they can start their eye of the moon plan and Izuna would be the ace in the hole in case he died during the fight with the 1st Hokage,but Izuna would have to remain in the shadows 4 that to happen.And if its not Izuna then it must be Madara's masked apprentice who ever that is.there is no way even Itachi could know that the masked man was Madara for sure other than suspicion.Not even Karuma raised an eyebrow when Tobi told Naruto the truth about Itachi and he was a few feet away,but he felt it when Edo Madara tried to summon him.The 4th thought it was Madara but then realized that Madara must be dead to which Tobi replied i wouldn't be so sure.So perhaps at the time when the leaf was attacked by the fox Madara was still alive but he would be hella old by then and Edo Madara looks pretty young not nearly as old as Tobi looked while fighting Konan but i'm sure Kabuto has a good idea who he might .......But i'm just speculating and if any of this sounds right or wrong HOLLA.Again AWESOME chapter.Also even tho Tobi was controling 6 tailed beasts and using a sharingan and a rinangan and Guedo Mazo he does not seem to tire so he has an obscene amount of chakras.

I have been doing some research and looking back into the whole tobi identity thing. I am starting to think that Tobi is actually the Sages oldest son. The original son who inherited the Sages eyes and was upset that his father passed on his will to the younger son. If your familiar with Christianity this is the classic story of Cain and Able. Ill explain a few reasons why I think this is the oldest son.

The Sage's eyes were always depicted as the rinnegan. We know that the rinnegan is the final stage of the Sharigan. If the Sage passed on his eyes to the oldest son, its safe to say that the oldest started out with the rinnegan and didnt need to develop it, it was a direct inheritance with full capabilities.

In manga 510/5 - Tobi tells Konan that he gave the rinnegan to Nagato when he was a child this could only be true if the tobi already possessed the rinnegan. (which is why I dont think it was obito)

We know that tobi effectively used Inzanagi with Konan and he clearly states that it can only be used by someone possessing both the powers of the Uchia and Senji manga 510/10. Again if he is the direct oldest brother descendant of the sage of six paths the he would have some blood or DNA of both clans. The clans didn’t emerge until later descendants of the two brothers. additionally Tobi has extensive knowledge of how Inzanagi works, as well as how the Sage himself used it to create life. Most other Shinobi in the current world thought that 1. the rinnegan was a mutation and 2. the sage was just a legend. How would Tobi possess such intricate details of the sage unless he was there.

The son which obtained the Sages eyes believed that power was the true road to peace. We know that combining the tailed beast back together is the ultimate level of "power" and using an "eye" technique to control mankind would be symbolic of the first son who inherited the sages eyes.

Lastly in the most recent manga Naruto has gained some frightening new abilities and gotten stronger and removed all the other tailed beast from the equation, and yet Tobi remains calm and confident and says this changes nothing. This is an obvious testament of his strength. There is no way that this could be Obito or even Izuna. We havent seen Tobi's true strength displayed yet, but he is always calm and very efficent. Another reason Tobi cant be Obito is because when he attacked Kushina he was able to control the 9 tails and fight the 4th. Obito would have been way too young for that and definitely not on par with his instructor the "yellow flash".

Simply based on the knowledge that tobi has and the level of determination he has towards the moons eye plan, I believe it would have to be the Sage's eldest son. Additionally I believe the Sage saw this before his death and portion of himself into the Kyubi, which would explain why when the first seal Naruto used when taking the Kyubi's chakra he said “ this is the sage of six paths” manga 499/14. Also in the last chapter all the tailed beast believe that the words of the Sage would come true , “when they would all be joined together” So if Naruto is going to become as strong or even stronger than the Sage of the Six paths then there has to be an equal counter part. Sasuke, madara and Kabuto possess strength but I believe Tobi’s true power has yet to be seen, and he has proven that he has the ability to use Inzanagi and he has joined “3 of the six paths” this to me is the only logical person able to acquired this much power and have this much intelligence of the Sage and the history of the Shinobi world as a whole.
So in short I believe Tobi is the eldest son of the Sage

A: *while looking warn out* this guys strength is...

tsunade: whats he thinking of?

oonoki: how disappointing of us, we are all together yet we cant even get one on him. and he hasnt even used any of the rinnegan abilities.

HQ: 5 kages!! all the other bijuus have been taken down, and the kyuubi is on our side now. the masked man is now going to engage in battle with naruto, bee, kakashi and gai. but they all look worn out.

*5 kages take notice and consideration of the battles*

madara: i think we should change the location of this battle, it seems it has gotten boring here. im going to see what is happening with the kyuubi...and him. so if you can catch up feel free to join
