So6P's used the Juubi's power for Evil!

Ok in the last few hours this Image has been posted everywhere. I posted it myself a few minutes after reading like 6 hours ago. But I think most people are not visualizing one of the most, probably THE most, important point in this panel.

Sage of Six Paths: 1st image (Top Right)
"And unlike when you were within me, you will be led down the right path."

The Sage of Six Paths admits that he did not used the power of the tailed beasts righteously. The only thing that can justify that unlike is if while they were within him they had been led down towards the wrong path. Meaning doing evil.
Having that said one must admit that had he been really evil he would have not said that as good bye talk to the beasts, but even if he was not Evil it self he perpetrated evil and used the Tail Beast power for the wrong purposes and deeds.

I think this is of utmost importance to understand what ever might be happening next. As for example the origin of the Moon Eyes Plan.
Maybe Tobi/Madara were not the first ones to think of it. And as they are so sure it will work and they need the Tailed Beasts Power for it. Would it be possible that the So6P tried it out himself?

i dont think he used the ten tails for evil... i think that the ten tails was so evil itself that the so6p couldn't change it.. so he decided to split it up so one day it can fuse back together but instead of being evil, it would be good.

I thought the same, but, now the question is: If the SO6P used that power for Evil as you say and as he states (or makes the readers think so) and they are gonna be led down to the right path, why is their nature evil? I mean, the kyubi has never wanted to lend naruto the power until now and everybody said he was evil... those are questions that will be answered soon.. or i hope so..

No. He had plenty of time. After sealing the Bijuu inside him he went on around the world teaching people Ninjutso. Also his Elder Son we have reasons to believe that the tomoes in the Elder Son's eyes were a gift from the Juubi Chakra, passed down by his father. So since it became genetic we must assume it was past down on conception. There fore we can assume that a long time has passed between the time when So6P sealed the Bijuu and when he died. If the point was that he had no time to lead them he wouldn't say "unlike while you were inside me" he would say "as I wasn't able to".

What he meant directly implies that he led them towards the wrong way.

He didn't use them for evil because if he did I don't think the tail beast wud still luv and respect him as much as they do but I think he couldn't find true peace that he was looking for and that one day somebody will find true peace and lead them down a right path towards peace which he calls true power

i dont think that "he led them" towards the wrong way. i think that when he had the ten tailed beast he tried to get it to be good but couldn't acheive this, so before he died he split it up so that each of them could have a chance to be good so that they can go back together into the ten tailed beast, but this time it'll be nice and not evil.

I don't think the panel we saw was the moment of the tailed beasts creation. That was most likely his farewell to the beasts. Also the beasts should know where they came from. And although they might not remember to be the Juubi they most certainly must have inherit his evil, or at least part of it.

As for why would he openly admit it to them? They are most likely the creation he is most proud of. Most likely, judging from how sad Kurama was to see him go, the beasts loved him like a father. Well when people are dying they usually go through putting everything in clean slates with the people they love. And after all even though he made Evil things he must have regret them, and he was confessing that to his creation. It makes sense to me. Does it make to you?

maybe he wasnt evil, but being a priest/sage/wise man whatever you want to call him he fealt guilty for teaching the world ninjutsu since people were using it for war and killing rather than the way he intended. not sure about this but its just an idea.

I just think if he was evil he would have gone around taking over the world with his power not going around teaching the art of ninjutsu and the truth of chakra and things such as that to people.
